don’t even bother reading the synopsis for James Patterson books anymore, it is bound to be a fast paced and addictive read. And The Women’s Murder Club is a guaranteed winner for me. 22 books in and they still manage to thrill me right until the very last page.

Lindsay and Joe get the chance to work together in this instalment, to intercept an illegal gun shipment from south of the border. The body count is high and a Lindsay finds herself a target. Meanwhile Cindy is struggling to write her book and. Lairs gets a call to help out with a heartbreaking case. All in a days work for these women.

I will never hesitate to recommend James Patterson books to lovers of crime fiction. Another 5 star read

The Women’s Murder Club is one of my all time favourite police procedural series. With 22 books so far, it is amazing how each new instalment is as fresh as the last and it has in no way overstayed its welcome.

As with all of James Patterson’s books, I don’t even read what they are about anymore. You know you are going to get a thrilling, action packed and addictive read each and every time and 22 Seconds is no exception.

A white knuckle read, 22 Seconds hits the ground running right from the get go and doesn’t stop until the final page. The plot unfolds around new restrictive gun laws resulting in citizen protests, a Mexican drug cartel, murder and dirty cops. It really is a very compelling and riveting read.

I love all the women that make this series the success that it is, although this time around the focus is more on Lindsay and her husband Joe with the other women taking on smaller roles. This isn’t a bad thing and even though I did miss the banter of the women, it still works and is a very entertaining and enjoyable read.

It is very simple really. If you have read and enjoyed any/all "Women's Murder Club" books you don't need me to say this is another very good read. A page turner written to his usual formula (which seems to annoy some?) Short chapters that keep you in suspense and needing to read on. The usual characters. Good plot developments and twists. I read it in 3 days. 22 books! If the formula works, please don't change it. Recomnded.

The book arrived on time and in good condition. Once again it has a good story line. The only negative is that I don't know whether I had some pages missing or if the proofreader didn't do a good job. In one part Joe Molinari and the FBI agent he was working with were taken prisoner in Mexico by men with automatic weapons. They were bundled into an armoured vehicle, hand cuffed and questioned. The next time they are mentioned they are back home! It does not state whether it was cartel men who took them, or whether they were released or somehow escaped and if so why they were released. I hate it when there are loose ends but otherwise a good read.

I seem to be on my own but I found the first half of book to be totally chaotic as though it was written in a hurry. It made no sense cops taken hostage then in next chapter at home. And where were the women's murder club. Nowhere to be seen it felt like it was a story cobbled together to fulfill a publishers contract. I think I should give up on the murder club now it's outlived itself.

I just love this series and this book did not disappoint. My heart went out to Joe and Lindsay at times and poor Claire and what she had to do.

I was expecting what happened to Cindy and there was some twists I did not see co,img and I certainly did not guess the killer correctly.

I just adored little Julie, every time I read about her she just puts a smile on my face.
