It was an enjoyable read but unfortunately I found it to be too predictable. I had an idea pretty early on about what was going on and spent a lot of the book mostly itching to find out if I was right. I was.
There’s a lot of psychological thrillers with a similar plot arc out there and I feel like a little more research and study into similar books and dissecting them for how they worked so well would’ve been an asset.
Apart from this though it was a nice, quick read. No grammatical or punctuation errors, good conflict resolution - there was no loose threads or unanswered questions, sex scenes were good. There wasn’t much room for character development (hard to achieve with this specific plot) and yet I feel like the characters needed a little more depth to begin with - I didn’t really fall in love with any of them.

I’ve always known things I shouldn’t know, and seen things I shouldn’t see - things no one else sees. One terrifying vision - and my reaction to it - lands me in Brocker’s Center for the Criminally Insane.
I’m convinced I can survive my time here unscathed. After all, I’m not crazy. But after spending time with three guys - a schizophrenic with two personalities, a pathological liar who isn’t to be trusted, and a nymphomaniac with a penchant for knives - I’m beginning to doubt my sanity.
Can I separate the real from the mad, or will this place make me spiral further down into the dark recesses of my mind?
Am I crazy? I’ll let you decide....

I really enjoyed this crazy reverse harem romance. The story was well written, the characters were likeable, and the conflicts and dark themes kept me guessing throughout the book. Even though I would have liked more detailed exploration of some parts of this story, I thought the storyline had enough original elements to keep it interesting. I’m looking forward to reading more by these authors!

Lydia Bloom is mad for Mason, Emmett and Pierce, and she is in the perfect place for that. A Kiss of Madness will have you questioning what is real and what is not for psychic Lydia when she is voluntarily committed into an asylum for the criminally insane. When someone with visions and the ability to feel the darkness in those around her gets locked up here, it takes the support of three not quite perfect guys to hold on to her sanity. Read this to see if they succeed :)

A kiss of Madness is the first co-written book i have read by these authors but they wrote well together. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel reading this book when I started it. It is story line I haven't seen before and is intriguing but also had parts I wasn't sure about. I feel like there could be a book 2 and I would read it if there was, though don't think it could have same theme. Was defiantly and interesting read.

A bit predictable, but enjoyable none the less. It was well written and handled difficult topics well.
Would have loved more in the epilogue!

Really enjoyed this. I've read a few of kb everlys books now and really enjoy how she puts a fresh spin on her books in a genre that's becoming a bit overloaded by the same kind of stories. Kept me interested and guessing til the end.

Paranormalish. Rh. 3 guys. Asylum. Clairvoyant\Empath Heroine. After an hysterical breakdown in a cafe, Lydia's forced to choose between jail time and 2 months of therapy in a mental institution. Easy choice right? So so good guys.

I really liked the pace of the story. To be powerless in an insane asylum, trying to stay lucid and managing to "hook up" with three hot guys...Lydia was an industrious girl!
My only gripe was at the end you never found out what really went on with the guys. They obviously knew her or something. How is the question. It would have been nice to read what they had experienced from their point of view.

I liked Stacy Jones' Tribe series. I decided to give this new series a chance. Not a fan. I guessed what was going on in the first few chapters. The guys were the typical hot guy stereotypes and were way too into this girl right from the beginning. Since I knew what was going on, the story became really boring and stupid after awhile. I stopped about 40% into it. Total disappointment.
