Great beginner top coat!

Although the top coat is a little on the thick side, it’s a great shiny top coat especially for
beginner nail artists that can’t specifically afford the best products on the market. Super easy instructions and doesn’t take too long in the UV light to dry. I’ve only used the base coat to position my rhinestones as I use the dip powder system, but it smells really nice and is just as good as the top coat.
Although I have nothing to compare it to as it is my first gel based top coat and base, I’m sure the pictures can showcase the shine itself.
Lastly, I’ve seen a couple reviews about it thickening overtime, I have used it about 5 times now and no problems yet but might update if anything happens.

Disappointed base

The first time I received this set, the base was semi dried and so thick that I couldn’t pull the brush out from the bottle. Thinking it was a one off, I ordered another set, but like the first it too was too thick to use. Aimeili needs to fix this issue, otherwise the polishes are great

Really happy. I now do better gels at home than SO many of the salons I’ve spent tons of money at over the years. I’ve even seen this brand used by some of the cheeky cheap salons.(I applied this better for a more long lasting result that those ‘technicians’). Thinner, but I use with the Aimelei builder, so result can be as thick and strong as more expensive brands of polish.

Giving a go at home gel manicures. This is the first brand I've tried but other reviews said this brand is one of the more durable. As I can be hard on my finger nails I decided to give this brand a go and I haven't been disappointed. Held up very well for at least 2 weeks and would have gone longer if I hadn't overlapped the polish on the skin at my cuticles on some nails so it didn't seal properly at the base and began to peal up a little. The nails that were properly sealed near the cuticle easily lasted 3 weeks. Used with same brand colored polish. Ultimately very happy.

A salon gel manicure rarely makes it to one week on me before the gel peels off my nails. Since I bought my own led lamp, I've been trying various brands of gel UV polish and I seem to get the best results from this brand. It made it to the 2 week mark and was not showing any signs of lifting or chipping. At two weeks I removed it because I was tired of the colour and ready for change. Quite impressed! Look forward to trying more colours.

I'm an esthetician, I've worked with a lot of gels and UV polish brands. This base and top works great as long as you prep your nails and cure each layer properly. I was able to use these two with a shellac colour. It's nice to finally wear long lasting polish again. I can't wait to test out nail art with it.

You may develop an allergic reaction to this product

I would love to give this gel nail polish 5 stars, but after using it for 6 months I started to develop an allergic reaction to the product. Initially, I loved the polish. It goes on great, cures easily and last relatively long depending on what you do with your hands on a daily basis. However, after several months of using I started to notice that underneath my nails would start to feel itchy. At first I thought it was the new hand soap I was using, so I got rid of the hand soap. But weeks later after I did a fresh manicure using this product I started to experience the same problem. This time the itchy was more intense. My finger tips were turning red and the skin underneath my nail and finger tips was peeling. I decided to look up the issue online to see if anyone else experienced the same problem. I found a forum on reddit where several women had experienced the same problem I was having and with this brand of nail polish. Apparently, you can develop an allergic reaction to gel polish long after initially use and it is a permanent condition. Unfortunately, I had already purchased dozens of bottles of polish from Aimeili before I developed this reaction. Now I am stuck with bottles of the Aimeili and I can't use the product. The price for this polish is great, it does go on easily, and it last relatively long...but in the end the investment is not worth the purchase since there is a good chance you can develop a permanent allergic reaction to the product. Save you money and go with a salon brand.

Fake/cheap top coat

This no wipe top coat DOES NOT work with born pretty special effect powders (see picture attached!!) this whole time I thought I had received defective powders, then I bought Makartt polygel and it came with a no wipe top coat and thought to try it again. I’m so glad I did!! Beyond that this top coat is bad quality. See pictures.
Very disappointed. This is the second time I buy this and the No Wipe top coat always turns into gloppy gummy, thick and sticky. Also for whatever reason the brush both times is frayed and ends up sort of melting and creating weird long and hard bits on the brush. When brushing it on the nail you can see hard bubbles and bits. Not smooth at all. All my gel polished are stored the same little box and this is the only one that ended up this way twice now. Wishing I didn’t buy any of this brand.. now I know why my gel polish doesn’t last.. cheap quality.
