Nic Cage has long been my favourite actor since films like Con Air, Face/Off & Go in 60 Secs. I've always remained loyal to this claim, even though the last decade has seen Sir Cage slip into the Wesley Snipes territory of 'Straight-to-DVD' tat.
However, Nicky.C for me has a knack of making a bad film good by his performance. And recently I've been catching up on Cagie's catalogue of DVD "duds", discovering that he carries the films and his co-stars excellently. This film is certainly no exception. Having watched it the once, I can already not imagine anyone else playing the part to this degree. The film itself in plot is also good. It's a film you'll watch, enjoy and recommend.

Amazing performance by Cage who really nails it here. I haven't seen a film this amusing in ages. It really does have a lot of charm as well. Brand although can be annoying, even he could not spoil what is a truly great comedic role. Very funny and just damn brilliant acting. Recommended.
