Before 'Arrow' i was watching 'The Flash' and thought that was really good and decided i'll give 'Arrow' a try and i now think this is so much better, it is more grittier and darker compared to 'The Flash' which has a lot of humour and silliness to it.
A lot of people have given season 3 a thumbs down saying it was disappointing so when i did finally get round to watching it i was expecting it to be c**p but actually it is still very good. It does start off a bit slow compared to the previous seasons openers and with the high of the previous season finale there will always be a come back down to earth moment at the beginning of the next but you will get that in any good TV series, but this is just the calm before the storm the way i see it, and the first 6 episodes or so whilst a bit slow does set up the rest of the season nicely. I am now nearly half way through season 3 and it is already shaping up to be another excellent exciting season there are some real emotional moments for all and the action as always is excellent and have to praise the whole cast for there superb acting throughout the whole series so far.
With TV series as a whole the first season is always going to better than the ones that follow as it being a 'New' show, it is then even harder for the writers to keep it going if it does have the green light for another series this is where you can lose the audience figures.
With that.......
Season 1 was brilliant 5 stars
Season 2 still excellent 4.8 stars
Season 3 bit slow to start is still very good 4.5 stars.
I do sort of preferred it when....Oliver and Diggle and possibily Felicity were the only 'Team Arrow'
and Oliver's secret only be known to a few.
But all still good fun!!
