I love Nora's books but over time they are becoming less interesting and less exciting. Nightwork was predictable. the main character was a complete BOOR as was the female. Sorry!! Nowhere near her efforts of Angle Falls/The Search/Hidden Riches/Northern Lights etc.

Take a little more time Nora and write better stories.

I love JD Robb / Nora Roberts books and eagerly await the next new book, but this one is abysmal. You could almost believe it was programmed by a computer from her previous novels. I really struggled to finish it and have put it straight into the charity shop pile. It's great to get 4 new books a year from her but the quality is not there in this book so maybe she can no longer keep up - no one can blame her. I'm really sorry to diss one of my favourite authors but this is a complete waste of time and money.

Tought it all back. The struggle, the determination to beat this horrible disease and the hopelessness of realising you can't win that fate has other plans. There are good times, making memories my mum called them and Nora has Dina use the same phrase.The love this small family has is beautiful the struggle, while harsh, is also beautiful hence he tears. Then the story moves on with Harry left to find his way in a now very lonely world. After some time into this world comes Miranda a young woman who entrances him from the moment he sees her. But fate isn't done with Harry yet and he's forced to leave Miranda and the life that could have been when n old adversary threatens everyone he holds dear. So it's a lonely life for Harry, no close relationships which could be used against him, always on the move. Staying one step ahead of his enemy. Till one day the unthinkable happens and he runs into Miranda again and pc his life is drastically changed once again but before he and Miranda can enjoy their future they must deal with Harry's nemesis once and for all. Or they will never be safe. I don't know how Nora Roberts does it four books a year nd always such a high standard. Loved it,,

This story grabbed my heart from page one and didn't let go. I loved the main character and cried buckets for him and I couldn't put the book down until I knew that he was OK...then I cried again! It was heartbreaking, funny and exhilarating from start to finish, I loved every second and felt lost when I realised that I had reached the end, I want to keep reading about the characters, where they go, how their family grows, I'm so invested, they feel like old friends.

Harry makes a decision out of necessity that has ramifications for the rest of his life. He meets Miranda on his journey and she too has an impact. I absolutely loved this book. It’s Nora Roberts at her best. This book had me crying/sobbing and also cheering. The characters are well rounded and I wished I had most of them in my life. This is a wonderful book. I absolutely loved it. It’s one of my keepers.
