Totally, totally, utterly awful

The vanity project of a grating narcissist who is about as funny as a dose of the clap. Save yourself some time and money, buy a tester pot of paint, splash it on the wall and watch it dry - it has the same comedic value. If you want to watch the posh dregs of the private school system drop not-so-subtle digs at "commoners" and are fed up of watching the coverage of Parliament, this is a good substitute.

Not half as good as the series...

Fans of Bad Education (like myself) love the series because of Alfie's poor quality of teaching, the on-off relationship with Rosie and just how inappropriate Alfie's antics are for a school setting. The Movie takes the children completely out of school and to Cornwall. This loses most of these themes and therefore loses most of the humour. There are some genuinely funny moments, but it feels completely disjointed from the series. This is proven my numerous continuity errors, especially involving Joe's mum. It's worth a watch, and is quite funny, but the plot lets it down...

Good laugh, but it's still the 'teacher & pupils' part that's the best bit, not the 'big story'

Loved the series, so bought the film. As often with well loved tv series, it doesn't always translate as well to the big screen. I know it's the kids I love most in this series, and it's when the 'big story' takes over that I lost a bit of interest. I just love the simple formula of how the dorky teacher relates to all the kids and dysfunctional staff! Overall, still loved it (could have done with c. 20 mins less of the Cornish mob). I can never use a teabag again without thinking of the swan...

Amazing funny top rated film

This is one of the most funniest films ever! Jack Whitehall is an amazing actor, writer and comedian. The film is upbeat, funny, and emotional in some parts. I fully recommend this film if you are a fan of comedy!!

My husband loved this - we didn't get to see it at the cinema so I had it pre-ordered.
We have always enjoyed the television series and hoped that the film would be good and not just a money making production. It was very good and the characters are great.
Many times it was laugh out loud funny and even as a half Cornish person I found it very amusing!
