NOT a "ski mask," great for costuming!

At the time of this review, part of the item name includes "ski mask."
As one of the negative reviews says though, "Material is like ladies' nylons."

This is actually a great thing in certain applications. It's comfortable to wear, and can keep a costume from getting soaked in your sweat. Also helps keep long hair more manageable if you're putting any sort of mask/helmet on.

The reason I'm giving it 5 stars is because this is (so far) the most comfortable balaclava I've tried-- there are a LOT that I can't stand wearing for any considerable period of time.

Okay I give it four stars for a reason.

They lost one star because it does not fit me and I had to give it to my friends kid who is 12 years old.

It does not fit all adults.

This is a light weight balaclava--which is what I wanted. It added warmth and protection to my face. It serves the purpose I wanted it for. I would order a heavier one if I was going skiing or was going to be out in the weather for a longer period of time. It is perfect for me!!
