The 4K HDR transfer seems to have been done pretty well. I'd watched the new movie in 4K as well and couldn't resist picking this one up on sale over the holidays. The colors are brighter and things are more vivid than an older blu-ray I had of the movie and it looks as though some color matching/restoration has been done to make it a better watching experience.
HDR does make a difference with this movie as it is a relatively darkly lit movie (which emphasises the decay apparent in the world). You probably will see things that you've never noticed before.
