5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended.

The last book in the trilogy. Beatrix has killed four from her kill list with just two left but the suspense is can she get to them before her health fails her. Great characters, excellent plot with a number of surprises along the way and all the usual Mark Dawson page turning action. Three book in the series and right to the last it's kept fresh and new. Beatrix' daughter Isabella also comes to the fore in this one opening the way into the series of books about her. I can recommend this book very highly.

The last of the Rose Trilogy, brilliant plot, provocative writing as Beatrix attempts to exact her final revenge and finish the task that has consumed her..
This book shows a greater depth to Beatrix and her back story whilst showing her vulnerabilities.
Great read that leads into the start of Isabella's story

4.0 out of 5 stars Not quite as good as the Isabella Rose series but still well worth reading!

I am totally hooked on the Isabella Rose series so I thought I would give the Beatrix Rose (Isabella’s mother) series a try while I wait for the next book in the Isabella Rose series.

Once again I’m impressed with Mark Dawson’s writing. He comes up with engaging characters and fantastic plots and I would highly recommend both series.

An emotional and explosive finally of Beatrix Rose series. It's a gripping story and very emotional, I cried for Isabella Rose heartbreak and her ruined innocence, I cried for her lost parents and I cried for her tragedy. It's so sad to know that Beatrix Rose series ending but I'm very excited that her legacy goes on. I can't wait for Isabella Rose adventures to begin.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great end to the trilogy

If you enjoyed the first two in the Rose trilogy as much as I did, then you won't be disappointed by the finale. Blood & Roses maintains the high standard Dawson has set throughout. As with the Milton series, the action is fast and furious, and reads like the script to a Hollywood blockbuster. Despite Dawson's prolific work rate, he maintains a very high standard in terms of the quality of the narrative. Looking forward to the next Milton book!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book, and a brilliant end to the series. I would recommend reading them back to back, as I had to wait for each one.
Anyone who enjoyed the John Milton books, the Bourne series, or The Friends From Damascus series, should read these.
Great characters and well written. Buy all three, you won't regret it.

Felt sorry for some of the poor buggers who were killed just doing their jobs - like the cops, but it was fast paced and kept my attention throughout. A good read.
