mediocre previous-gen arcade shooter RPG

Mediocre gunplay, terrible driving experience, below average storyline, and characterless in-game inhabitants behaviour. Once again, all the hype surrounding this game's claim of "next-gen FPSRPG" raised expectations beyond what was delivered. One can tell the engine used was developed in the 2010s; The bugs and slow UI are a tell, not to mention it's AI's shameful arcade-like responses (selecting a harder difficulty only raises the AI's damage and HP, not their intelligence)

TL;DR: This is a playable previous-gen arcade shooter RPG. Nothing new, only average gameplay and old tech. A mix between GTA 5 and Deux-Ex without achieving any of the good points of those games. Give it a pass, you won't miss much.

Great game despite controversy

Didn't experience the game breaking issues that were reported at launch despite installing on day one. Had some occasional but forgivable graphical glitches, but overall a great RPG shooter experience. Fans of games like the Witcher and Fallout will probably find something to enjoy. The game was probably a little overpriced when it was released, but I'd recommend grabbing it now that the price has dropped to a similar amount to comparable titles. I played this on a pretty new computer and a lot of people have experienced bugs and so on so your mileage may vary, do some googling and see how other people with your system have fared if you're having doubts.
The box comes with a map of the game world that doubles as a poster as well as some stickers and a CD of the soundtrack. These are all of the high quality you'd expect from a AAA game, although I honestly didn't play the cd since the soundtrack is also downloadable with purchase.

Great game, late delivery

So far from what I have played the game has been really good, the story is very engaging and the gameplay has been stable. I play on a mid-tier pc build (Nvidia RTX 2060ti, intel core i7 9700, 16GB ram) and have no issues running it at 60 -144 fps on high graphics settings. The only bugs that I have encountered on my 50-hour playthrough are, framerate drops when a large number of enemies have engaged in combat and the frequent physics glitches which may take away from the immersion, but tend to be more so, funny than broken. The only issue I have had with my purchase was the date that I received the game. After preordering in October, I did not receive my game until the 18th of December (release date was the 10th of December 2020). This most likely would have been due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and it is understandable that there were delays. Overall if you enjoy RPGs (role-playing games) than you most likely will enjoy.

A beautiful game with flaws

Cyberpunk is a good game, I will say that, the combat is crisp and intense, the story is moving and beautiful but all this is marred by bugs and other performance issues.

Only reason I'm giving it a 5/5 is because I would not put the game down despite those flaws and bugs in the game, it really has potential to be one of the best Open World RPG games there are, given enough time and patches. The story alone is quite deep in how it tackles themes of mortality, choice and fate. I would recommend waiting 2-3 months before buying, as at the moment, unless you don't mind a bit of a bumpy experience, it can be a bit messy but still quite fun.

I really enjoy this cyberpunk 2077, sure its abit buggy, but is it game breaking, not at all,
Bugs ive noticed include floating ciggies, summoned cars stuck in other cars which is more funny then anything, trees that stretch til u get close, thats about it, no quest bugs and game issues,
The patch updates have fixed alot.

It's a trash game with a lifeless world that's clearly falsely marketed. Check out some comparisons with GTA and you will know how bad it really is. Btw not the GTA V comparison but San Andreas, yes a 16-year-old game.
