Product description

Review

Dahl's phenomenal popularity among children speaks for his breathless storytelling charms.--Publishers Weekly --This text refers to the paperback edition.

From the Back Cover

“WE MUST GO HIGHER!” SAID MR WONKA. “WE MUST GO TREMENDOUSLY HIGH! HOLD ONTO YOUR STOMACH!” HE PRESSED A BROWN BUTTON. THE ELEVATOR SHUDDERED, AND THEN WITH A FEARFUL WHOOSHING NOISE IT SHOT VERTICALLY UPWARD LIKE A ROCKET.

Mr Wonka, Charlie and the entire Bucket family have blasted their way through the roof of the Chocolate factory and are whirling through space in the Great Glass Elevator. But they soon discover they are not alone – in fact the universe is swarming with strange and dangerous aliens!

--This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
