12 Days At Silver Bells House (Swallow's Fall Book 2) Kindle Edition
From the author of the internationally bestselling The House on Burra Burra Lane comes a Christmas story – country style.
Kate Singleton has twelve days to find herself. With Christmas Day and her thirtieth birthday approaching, the best thing a city–chic fashion designer who no longer has a raison d'etre can do is nullify herself in the country. With Chardonnay.
When trouble strikes, the country presents her with Jamie Knight – a gallant but uncommunicative He–Man who drives an excavator and arrives to rescue Kate, her shoes and her case of Chardonnay from a boggy field.
The adventure should be over – nothing but a good story to tell to her friends in the city – but her saviour turns out to also be an unexpected roommate, the new owner of Silver Bells House, Kate's holiday home.
Forced together and dragged into the community Christmas spirit of the town, Kate and Jamie flounder their way through mistletoe, kissing games, carolling choirs, and a bone–deep yearning for community and acceptance.
Can the enchanting Silver Bells House and the holidays bind them together? Or will love get lost on Highway B23 back to the city?
About the Author
Jennie Jones loved everything with a romantic element from an early age. That's why she became an actor before she started writing, touring the UK's grand old theatres, becoming someone else for two hours, eight performances a week, and loving every second.
She's been an Aussie with Welsh roots for over twenty years and wouldn't have it any other way. She's been writing for six years and says she can't imagine writing, like acting, will ever get boring.
Jennie currently lives in a small country town in Perth, Western Australia with Jonesey the boy cat and Zena the warrior girl cat. Plus Churchill the 50 kilo rescue dog, and the occasional sighting of her twenty year old daughter.--This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

From the moment a gorgeous hunk of an excavator driver arrives to drag Kate's Chardonnay (my hero) and Kate herself out of the car, this story lit up my Kindle.
It's got great pace, fun characters, and the town of Swallows' Fall adds its own personality all the way through.
A real relax and enjoy read in an Australian setting. (And did I say Chardonnay?)
The banter between Kate and Jamie Knight is a hoot. One of the funniest lines I came across was when Kate Singleton first met Jamie Knight and was thinking to herself, "must remember to talk in country mode," then said to Jamie, "golly galoshes but you look strong." Maybe I've got a strange sense of humour but I found those lines hysterically funny.
Jennie Jones has a way with words that makes my stomach flicker with warmth and my body turn into a gooey mess, a wonderful, happy gooey mess. I love it when a story can make me feel this way, it says a lot about the author to me.
I spent many days reading this novella, I would've devoured this gorgeous story in one sitting had I not been on holidays with a husband that had ants in his pants!
Highly recommended. It deserves more than 5 stars.
PS. Jennie, loved, loved, loved the bonus story at the end.

That said, this is quick read which may appeal to readers that do not want to concentrate too hard on the contents of the book.
