A really good read. Not a long book, so would be good for reading in bed too. I really enjoyed the outcome. I confess to almost having the outcome figured out but got the wrong person.

This book I found to be a reasonable read but it did not grab my attention and refuse to let go. The plot line of young hopefuls disappearing from a dance academy, to be lured to the bright lights, provided a quite solid foundation. What was disappointing was the characterization that was rather undeveloped. An exploration of motive would have been helpful. I hope the others I'd previously purchased (on the basis of my reading of "Bring Them Home", and they were inexpensive at the time) improve in the above mentioned departments.

Have read D S Butlers books and really enjoyed them however the Jack Mackinnon books 1 & 2 were a disappointment.Main character not “strong” enough to warrant name in title .
Too many minor characters easy to get lost in the story line .

I enjoyed this book. It was easy to read, believable plot and not too many characters. Some authors put in too many characters that you just can’t follow everything. However this was an easy read and I’ll certainly buy the next book in the series.
