Poor quality and shoddy book

I bought this as a gift but but won't be giving it. The quality is appalling and the pages aren't even cut to the same size. One page sticks out of the book and is frayed all along the edge. The cover is bright and colourful but inside the pages are bland, boring and look like they've been typed by a child! I wish I’d have read the reviews before buying.

Although some of the puzzles are very 'Americanised', there are many great puzzles to help children (and adults) learn to think laterally and creatively. The book is divided into sections where the puzzles become more difficult, but in reality there are some that are easier/harder than others in each section.

Bought this for my very smart grandson who is 12. Unfortunately it was a little above his head. I'm hoping it will help him to start ''thinking outside of the box'' but, perhaps it would have been better for an older child. I found the riddles too difficult for me and I've been around a lot longer lol! I think the age range given might be a bit ambitious ........ it did arrive when expected though and was good value for money.
