Should be retitled Doctor Karen, Rubbish Hard to Follow boring Storylines, even worse acting.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 January 2022Verified Purchase
I am going to be brutally honest, Doctor Who to me is Doctors 1-7, the Film was good and it was a shame the 8th Doctor did not get a season of his own, Doctor Who after this needs to be watched as a stand alone sort of re-boot, 9th Doctor excellent, one season not enough, 10th mostly good, 11th Doctor (the Amy and Rory show) mostly rubbish boring story lines from start to finish, 12th Doctor got better after ditching Clara, then we come to the 13th Doctor, Doctor Karen, always right, never stops talking crap at breakneck speed, and please don't get me started on the Over use of the Sonic Screwdriver, episode 1 it was used 6 times in less than a minute, so annoying watching Doctor Karen constantly use a piece of plastic that actually reveals nothing every five seconds. Then we have the writing, the ridiculous "lets have several boring hard to follow story lines going at once rubbish", just like all the Matt Smith stories where you have your finger hovering over the fast forward button on the remote which is pressed more times than Doctor Karen has a chance to whip out the sonic screwdriver, even the Daleks, Cybermen cameo's did not make this rubbish watchable, full of boring characters that nobody gives a Donald Duck about, for instance the boring Man with a stupid hairstyle in charge of some Craft but ended up with fellow boring companion person Yaz, and given lots of boring screen time nobody cares about, Then we have the nauseating equally boring girl telling an equally boring no one wants to here story about something that's even more boring. John Bishop is brilliant but he couldn't save this dross, it's beyond saving, Doctor Who has been ruined and is nothing more than an insult to the excellent writers for Dr's 1-7, War Doctor, Renegade Doctor, River Song, the 13th Dr's Tardis Interior, The rubbish wooden depressing acting of John Simms trying to play the master, badly. WTF, the re-writing of timelord history, timeless child rubbish, time to put Doctor Who to bed never to awaken and re-brand Doctors 9 to 13 as a reboot, leaving the Doctors 1-8 untarnished and remembered as the great show it was and the equally great actors that played the Doctors and the Master. Save your money and your time, even for completists this isn't worth buying, you will never want to watch it again.

This steelbook is by far the best we have seen for Jodi as the image is just fantastic , perfect for any fan and does not look out of place next to the others would Highley recommend as it looks better in hand well done to the artist you have done yourself proud.

Disaster
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 January 2022Verified Purchase
I bought this collection only to ensure my Doctor Who history collection was not incomplete.
This Doctor and more important Chibnall destroyed the best programe in the history of tv.
I look forward to the return of Russell T Davis to re- instate the Doctor to his former postion of No1 tv programe.

Absolutely awful
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 February 2022Verified Purchase
Jodie Whittaker crawls to a whimpering, ignominious end. There's nothing good to say about this except that it sux...monumentally.
This is not the Doctor Who I grew up loving. It's nothing more than a platform for a political agenda but it's all been said. I can add nothing new.
The downside of this, as if it could possibly have a downside, is that there are a few more specials to grind through before she finally ends her miserable tenure. Mercifully, they're spaced so far apart that it gives people enough time to forget all about this - altogether. Having recorded the worst viewing figures ever, it wouldn't surprise me to know that absolutely nobody watches the final special. I know I won't.

At this price it's robbery!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 January 2022Verified Purchase
I didn't put the discs in my Blu-ray player yet. The series itself is worth 5 stars but the steelbook is way too expensive for what you get. I was aware of the hefty price for the number of episodes but thought it was the only price for flux. Only after it shipped did I see the regular Blu-ray is HALF the price for the same content. You get 6 episodes for the price of a 10-13 episode series. No new years' specials (not even 2021's Revolution of the daleks) and all bonus content is available on YouTube. Shame on the BBC for preying on whovian steelbook collectors!
