Felicity Valdez just wants a simple life. She’s turned her back on her family legacy and escaped to a tiny Pennsylvania town. She’s even changed her name to cut all ties between herself and the powerful Valdez family, who rules the magical world. All she wants is to run her shop, a place where she can brew up potions and a damn fine cup of coffee. And maybe flirt with the gorgeous guy who keeps coming in to see her. But there’s more to Damien than meets the eye, and Felicity is soon caught up in intrigue that could shatter her simple life forever.
Damien Dragomir has been on the run for decades. As the last dragon ruler of the magical world, he has sheltered his brothers from the Valdez family, usurpers who murdered his parents and would do the same to him if they could find him. Damien’s drive in life has been the safety of his family, but that was before he met Felicity. He can’t stop thinking about the beautiful witch who makes the killer coffee. Is the fire he feels for Felicity enough to overcome his hatred of the Valdez name?
The Kings of the Fire is an overarching story with a new featured couple and HEA every book. The series features witches, pixies, shifters, and humans coming together to fulfill a prophecy and bring peace to the magical world. If you like small-town romance with a magical twist, you’ll love this series!

This is a good story with a romance between a dragon shifter and a witch, but the witches family killed the dragon shifters family. I would have enjoyed it more if it was longer, and the fated mates had more depth to their characters but it does keep you interested

There are so many of these type of books around, I thought I'd give one a go though shirtless ripped dudes are usually automatic no-click. At least I know I have been right in my prejudice now. C'mon this isn't a story its a flimsy excuse for sex scenes. Two stars for ok editing.

Damien is a dragon shifter in hiding, and his whole family are believed to be dead. Felicity is a witch who walked away from her powerful family. When the two meet, sparks fly, but then Damien discovers that Felicity is part of the family who betrayed his own family.
This was okay, but not great. For one thing, it was a bit too insta-love. Also, there were a couple of info dumps which were dull to read, and I found myself skimming over them. Constantly referring to Felicity as a "girl" seemed a bit off when she was an adult. There were also some typos, including a fairly bad one in the first sentence of chapter 2.
It was an okay read, but it had a few too many issues for my taste.

Fun dragon instalove, curvy heroine

Damien Dragomir is, together with his three younger brothers, the last dragon shifters. Heard that one before right?
Well yeah, so its 'tropish' along with the 'instalove' and 'I'm fat, clever, and nobody could possibly love me more than my beautiful, skinny, reckless sister,' but it still works. It's called a trope for a reason and Lily Cahill delivers it seemingly effortlessly.
We've got reason to love (fated mates complete with prophecy)
Reason not to love (The heroine is a witch, heir to the family that killed off all the dragons).
Dramatic life and death situation involving Pixie dust which I thought was great.
A HEA, leaving sequels to follow with the other three dragon brothers finding love. (One sensitive, one angry, one 'fun' loving womaniser).
If this is what tickles your fancy, you'll 100% find it here, but don't expect anything...unexpected from this decent paranormal romance.

Good story.

I enjoyed the book.
It is story about a witch and a Dragon shifter.
The witches father killed the the entire Dragon species to gain and rule the entire Magical Kingdom, and succeeded in ruling..... But, unknowingly, the Dragon offspring was rescued and survived.
For me, the sex should have been secondary, and too explicit and long, 4 or 5 pages.
