Not really necessary

After reading reviews i figured we’d purchase as it would be better to have one than need one however it came a few days after the echo and it wasn’t really necessary to have. It’s a good stand, don’t get me wrong, but definitely not worth $30 or however much we spent. Looks cute though, makes the echo seem more… chic? Would not recommend to others. It’s cute but definitely not a MUST have

これ買うくらいなら、100均で同じくらいの箱買ってきて色塗ってマグネットシートでも貼り付けた物で充分

The media could not be loaded.

Setup is unnecessarily difficult. It does not allow google play or apps from there to be installed. It doesnt allow amazon apps to download nor install. Everything uses a 3rd paradigm called SKILLS. They are predefined and limited and amazon focused. No youtube. No apps you use. Everything requires setup in another device on Alexa app and sharing your account. Yes putting your amazon account on more devices for others to access, brilliant amazon. I figured since it w was sold packaged with Ring devices it integrated well. It doesnt. A tablet on a stand would be better and cost less. Even if you add an bluetooth speaker or wired speaker it would excel for Ring and other uses better. This device is garbage destined for a landfill. Dont waste you money on this.

Speaker crapped out after less than two months.

After two months the speaker has died. Tried to do the return for a new one option which said "possible up to Nov. 18th". But after clicking on it, I got a "not eligible" response. I'm hoping that there is something I'm missing and Amazon will stand behind their product by at least issue me a replacememt. It was delivered to me on August 20th. Less than two months later and the speaker sounds horrible. I use it at my home office desk for quiet background music and to "drop in" to the rest of the house. So disappointing that the speaker wouldn't hold up for that. We have many alexa products and enjoy them all, this one just didn't hold up. And the lack of product support from Amazon is baffling.

I purchased two of these for basic use with my RING system but I tried to get more out of it, and I ended up being frustrated.
The unit sits at an upward angle so the camera doesn’t get a good view as an indoor monitoring camera. You’ll see a lot of ceiling or bottom of your cabinet.
The unit is absolutely frustratingly slow and not user friendly. I have one in my office and had a movie playing that I paused, took a call and couldn’t find the movie. And as I was scrolling it ended up playing some random show whose graphic was in the same spot as the side arrow.
Absolutely annoying. No wonder it was so cheap.
