5.0 out of 5 starsSo far, so good
Reviewed in Australia on 8 October 2020
So far so good. The sturdy product arrived sooner than expected, with 75% charge. After reading the manual, I plugged it in for a full 100%. I may edit this review in the future after it’s been used for its purpose. I’d rather not have to use it but emergencies are what they are
Updated 22 days after 1st review - I had a chance to use it on my Renault with a 2L engine and can confirm it works perfectly. The item was still 100% full from its initial charge and easily restarted the car. Purchase of the year I think

2.0 out of 5 starsActually 16200mAh @ 5V
Reviewed in Australia on 13 April 2021
This product supports 3 external voltages - 12V (primary, and for USB), 5V (USB), and 9V (also USB). So, which do you think the 21800mAh applies to? None - it applies to 3.7V, which is an internal voltage not mentioned anywhere. That's at best misleading, at worst deceptive.

As a product it seems fine, but it has 25% less capacity than I was lead to believe from the description (80.6Wh, not 21.8Ah x 5V = 109Wh).

If it had been clearly marked as 80.hWh, then 4 stars, with 25% less capacity than expected from the description (of course could be even less, I haven't measured it) 2 stars.

Review if the product was as described:
Comes is a neat if slightly bulky carry bag, that should be easy to stow in a glove compartment, or with the spare tyre.

The included accessory / cigerette lighter adapter is a good flexibility inclusion, specified at 120W / 10A @ 12V (see how those numbers line up - it isn't hard...).

Includes a USB charging cable (but per the pictures and description, there is no charger).

The smart charger is easy to attach, but no flat batteries yet, so haven't tried it in anger.

I assume the USB charging ports work - haven't needed them yet either.

The flashlight requires the slide switch on the side to be "on", and a 3 second hold of the power button, off is the same, or after cycling through the annoying flashing modes with a shorter press. Has some odd modes including morse code SOS (why???) and red an blue strobing. The only mode that might be useful is the blue and red strobing, which I think would keep most drivers alert when they see it, if you're stuck by the side of the road. The morse SOS feature seems pointless to me, but I guess 1 person in 10 million might use it.

The unit came half - three quarters charged, so I plugged in via USB C to my phone charger, charged in a few hours. Probably would have been faster if my phone supported 9V or 12V charging. The 4 indicator lights show "rounded down" while charging and "rounded up" when not charging - ie 75-100% shows with 3 solid and 1 flashing light while charging, but 4 solid lights when not charging. So, when pressing the button to display the charge status 4 LEDs on only means "more than 75% full" (which makes sense, just good to know).

2.0 out of 5 stars Not 21800mah capacity?

Just used this battery to jump start my car, worked as it should but the battery was dead instantly after. Charged it up completely and used it to charge my phone to not even half full and now the battery is already at 50% charge only (from 4 to 2 lights in an hour or so)... impossible if it actually had 21800mah, as my phone is only 4000mah... Don't know if it's an error in this specific battery or common issue.

1.0 out of 5 stars Rubbish - Do not buy

I bought this jump starter/charger to have in the glove box of my car. However, the unit is not fully charged when it comes out of the box and it doesn't even come with a charger to charge the unit! You have to buy a charger for it separately! I feel like I've been ripped off!

1.0 out of 5 stars Did not work for me. Nice packaging, Shame about the manual (and ultimately the performance)

Update: Tried the product to restart a 2.5l Hyundai iLoad. Just did not work. Returning it.
Oiginal review: Remember 20 years ago? When goods from China hit the shores with appalling translations of manuals. Well those days are still around when you get a FNNMEGE Jump Starter kit. Just follow your instincts when using it, the manual actually mixes up inputs and outputs apart from being badly translated. Anyway, the product seems sturdy. I really like that it can be charged from the car battery (obviously before you have to use it when the car battery is flat). I bought a 60W USB cigarette plug USB converter with it for fast charging. I have not used the product for starting a car, but the presentation (packaging, zipped bag etc) is very professional.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of my time and money
Reviewed in Australia on 9 April 2022
Size Name: 2000A/21800mAhVerified Purchase
This unit gave out just enough power to get the motor to move slightly just once before being completely drained
Same result on three recharges and three re attempts
It has no where near enough power to turn over my 2.7 litre car engine let alone start it
The purchase has been a complete waste of my time and I will now have to wait until it is received by Amazon before my money is refunded
As instructed I have arranged to return it to Amazon by Australia post
How long will that take ?
I am extremely annoyed at this waste of my time and money
The unit does nothing like it is described as doing not even remotely
This unit should be taken off the Amazon market

I purchased this device to initial charge my lap top while on field work. It did not charge with the supplied cord. Have had to use alternative cords that I had, which works, but it sucks the life out of it very very quickly. Then takes all night to recharge. I've jump started one vehicle no worries, with another it wouldn't jump start the vehicle, unsure if the vehicle had further problems. It does come in a great carry case, and zip section for the cords. But next time I would go the larger battery, and even look at different brands, do your research

1.0 out of 5 stars Confusing instructions, doubt if this could start a car!

port 2 DC12V/10A The reason I bought this was for the cigarette lighter socket- to run 12V LED party lights. The instructions for port 2 states" Charge the device" WTF? anyway I used to run 5m of LED party lights - which draw little power & it lasted 1 hr before going flat!- no way this could start a car- CHINESE CRAP!

I take back what I said, had a flat battery on my 4WD diesel, Used the FNNMEGA and it worked! Twice!

It did not work to charge the car. On connecting the cable to the positive and negative terminal of the Mazda cx9 battery, just error beep comes from the charger lead useless product as i dont see any wrong doing in our part. It is simple one way cable to connect to the charger and battery terminals. Hopeless product.

It says 21800 mAh capacity. It manages to charge my laptop battery (5700mAh) by extra 5% in sleep mode, while losing 50%. That doesn't compute, does it. Utterly dissatisfied.
