The first three Seasons of the Flash would be in my top shows of the last decade. With the note Season 3 left on, and how solid the show had been up until that point I awaited eagerly for this new collection (I prefer to wait until a series is out on blu-ray before watching it).... and I was not expecting this, more so after how amazing the previous seasons had been.
Flash in Season 4 becomes almost a parody of itself. The show had always been lighter in tone and Arrow, which is what made it stand out, I prefer darker toned stuff but this show used to be clever and witty and used science to solve it issues with a great cast coming together to help each other.
Now in Season 4 it is a jest. Characters walk around grinning like idiots at each other most of the time. The scripts are awful and for the first time ever I actually found myself skipping thru the middle of episodes just to get to the ending due to how bad the writing was. You could almost be forgiven thinking this was made by a different production team... I would of highly recommend this series if it finished at Season 3. Now, it is a choice you will have to make for yourself...
