Annabelle Lindgreen was born on September 24, 1981, in the city of Edinburgh. Her grandmother had seen the world and experienced it and was familiar with all of the obstacles. She had a strange skill in telling myths and folk tales. Annabelle liked her grandmother so much that she never forgot her beautiful stories.

Once she entered the university, she began working in the library. Being around the library, dealing with children and doing cultural activities such as storytelling and chat talks with children made her familiar with hundreds of children’s books. With rising the encouragement of children and graduation from the university, she published her first book and got an invitation to write for children’s magazines.

If we consider the beginning of Annabelle Lindgreen’s career in 2000 and working for various magazines, she has been writing for children and teenagers for about twenty years. Her work is the result of more than twenty children’s and adolescent books, hundreds of stories and educational materials. Her books have been published in more than 150 volumes, many of which represent collections of stories. Because of the quality of stories, a company encouraged her to write adult novels. She has published a few adult novels so far.

I just love these stories about courage, love, happiness, mindfulness and strength. They are compassionate and hit the children's problems exactly. They get to the point and help to find solutions. I have purchased it for one of my nieces who is very timid. I thought it would be a great guide for her. There are inspiring stories to empower shy child and demonstrate the girl that she is special, one of a kind. It's not always easy for a child to comprehend some life aspects and stay motivated. The adults always have the last word when it comes to decision-making, you still have to learn so much and you don't really know what life brings with it. Nevertheless, life for girls and boys often poses very different challenges. Unfortunately, classic role models are still firmly anchored in the minds of many adults. What makes this book special is that it is based on fascinating stories. Every girl can put herself in the shoes of the main character. As a result, the child feels the reading time together as a piece of closeness and love and if you want to be part of your child's interests and questions then this book is right for you. Every small girl is willing to be sociable, pretty and to be popular among friends. Thereby, self-confidence is significant quality at this age. The stories are worked out by experienced author who knows child’s psychology. This collection for stories for girl shows the child that they are not alone with their experiences. Sometimes it is difficult to find the right words for the kid and to explain everything properly in an understandable manner. This kind of a book is a right solution and strategy in upbringing. In addition, I want to admit the quality of book. Once I had unfortunate experience with online orders. I bought an expensive book and was expecting the same quality. Pity, but it left much to be desired. However, presently I have changed my opinion, this book has not so high cost but I am satisfied with content and quality. Worth money. Even if the price would be 2 times bigger, I would buy it without hesitation. I can strongly recommend this girl's book!

This book is a creative way to explore love, courage, strength, and confidence. Common everyday situations are brought into focus. Role stereotypes, self-doubt and bullying are unfortunately still present in primary schools. The girls in the stories also experience these stressful situations. At the end of every story, it is said that this strength is not only to be found in the protagonist, but that every girl combines this ability in herself. My daughter likes reading the book in the evening and discussing it with me. It is so precious when we spend time together. In addition, it has a good impact on her behavior and mindset. How important it is to build strength and self-esteem in childhood shows again and again. Last but not least, it influences later adulthood. What's the best way to lead a full, successful life? How to deal with crisis situations? How one can encounter different people? Therefore, support by means of stories is a wonderful opportunity to prepare a positive and wide-ranging path for your daughter and to focus on the skills. A girl has to learn from an early age that their own psyche can be the worst weapon. Many children, especially girls, have some developmental issues that they struggle with. A guide that focuses on the development of especially small girls is therefore a very good add-on in raising children. I think this book gives very good advice on the subject of confidence and makes it a very important book in my opinion! I want to share my catch with you. This book has a good message, design, content and price. Buy a must!

Beautifully written, easy to read and most of all indirectly sending powerful messages through out the book encouraging young girls to be brave and confident in whatever they do. It guide them to be independent in deciding what they need to achieve in life rather than expecting others to help. Every single stories in the book has a unique lesson for the young girl to learn. Bought this for my little cousin to read, since she's been super interested in my e-reader and she loves the book! It helps keep her happy and is really invigorating and interesting.

The book is really good at keeping the interest of its audience and really helps them settle into the comfort of reading. This is great for kids who struggle to keep interested in reading books, as there are loads of colourful illustrations and imagery throughout the book. It will also help teach children with poorer social skills to become more expressive and social through its sound ethical teachings throughout the book.

The book is at a good length, enough to keep a child occupied for several hours, and potentially more if they decide to reread it. The book performs what it wants to do exceptionally well and is very good at teaching kids ethical practices. Very well written and thorough. An easy recommend for any and all kids.
