I’ve had this mat for only a couple of weeks now, and so far it’s absolutely fabulous. I haven’t had any issues like I read about in some other reviews, such as it splitting or coming apart. I’m thinking that it may have split for other people as perhaps they’re washing it as they would their floors. Personally, I just take a rag and wipe it down when I need to, but I lift it off the floor when I clean the floors so I don’t get any floor cleaning products or too much dampness on it - and perhaps that’s the way it should be washed. I had a similar mat that I would just wipe over with them mop when I cleaned the floors, and it cracked and split so, I’m going to take better care of this mat. In terms of functionality, it’s fabulous to stand on. We have a small orchard, and so I make a lot of jam and preserves, which requires a lot of standing - The mat is wonderful to stand on, it really takes the pressure off my back/ legs. I will update this rating should I have any issues, but at this point the mat is fabulous. My only wish is that it was a little bit bigger. 👍👍
