This book is brilliant and has been such a helpful addition to our anxiety toolkit. It is so adorable to hear our little saying "It's okay Gary! We aren't in danger!" when things get a bit overwhelming. (we named our amygdala Gary!) I highly recommend for all parents, but especially those with littles who have anxiety (which at the moment is all of them really isn't it)

A friend recommended this book. It is a fantastic resource for children and as a teaching resource. It covers the confrontational and uncomfortable issue of anxiety in detail but in simple easy to read and understand language. If educates the reader about what it is, what happens in our body and how to manage it. Beautifully written supported with illustrations as the story unfolds leaving the reader empowered by the end of the journey.

Has really helped age appropriate discussions around anxiety.
Quite lengthy and possibly more suitable to children aged 7+ but it has given great concepts for my 5/6 year old that we talk through

This book was super helpful in helping our kids identify anxiety in themselves and others. After reading this book my small kids were able to make connections between behavior and anxiety. For example, that the koala in the The Koala who Could probably had a lot of anxiety and that stopped him from doing what he wanted to do. He need to gain control over his warrior. Great book - highly recommended.

This really is a great book that explains the physiology of anxiety in child-friendly terms. The only complaint that I have is the price. I am used to paying $30+ for books and workbooks with much more content. This book only has 16 pages.
