I won tickets to the Hulk when it was released. Being able to relive the excitement, in the comfort of my own home, was a thrill. The quality of 4K is as close to cinema quality we currently have available. It's a movie I watch over and over again, doing the best justice to the Hulk trademark.

Not incredible but still great in places.

This comic book adaptation came before all the recent Marvel crackers but it did look amazing back in 2003 especially on the big screen where i first seen it.
Looking back now it does pale a lot to the likes of The Avengers,Iron Man and Captain America as well as some of the Spiderman and X Men films but this is still a underrated movie with some unique ideas for this type of film and some really top notch acting.
It takes a while to see the Hulk or even action of any kind but it is really awesome when it arrives with our rampaging hero squashing mutant dogs, throwing tanks about and biting into missiles like they were breadsticks.
As i said the acting and ideas are very ambitious for a comic book film but it works even if veteran actor Nick Nolte is a bit wooden these days and Josh Lucas was under used but Eric Bana was fantastic as Bruce Banner and Jennifer Connolly is brilliant and beautiful as love interest Betty Ross.
Not as good a film as The Incredible Hulk(even though this film has better acting)and certainly not as good as The Avengers Hulk but still very underrated and deserves more credit than what it normally receives.

How to make the Hulk boring
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 June 2020Verified Purchase
I grew up in the 70s watching the hulk on TV and I have enjoyed the modern Hulk movie links with Advengers and Thor Ragnarok. I live enjoyed the hulk in all of these. However thia movies stands out only because 'IT SUCKS SO Badly' great actors and cgi, but it just doesn't work sadly

Ang Lee gives soul, heart & beauty.

Hulk is a movie which needs to be watched at least x2 & I never tire of watching Ang Lee Hulk, it's a very touching movie with breath taking moments.
The chapter that is striking is when he discovers his mothers tragedy, whilst his Father tells the story to his loved one.
A movie with strong anti-war, anti genocide message oppose to 'iron-man', but also shows regardless how much power you have, we are all vulnerable.
This movie will be re-evaluated as a universal cinema classic.
