A little tight around the head, but packs real punch in gaming and music audio

Pros:

1. Played Rainbow Six Siege with this headset. I could hear ash's footsteps from halfway across the map and could tell exactly where it was coming from. 10/10 for soundwhoring.

2. On control panel audio devices, you should click properties for this headset and set the frequency in 'advanced' to the max because it isn't maxed by default. It improves sound quality and crispness a lot.

Cons:

1. It's very tight and creates this kind of suction when you put it on, which feels like when you're driving to a high mountain top and your ears start getting blocked. It's not really that uncomfortable, to be honest as you eventually forget it's there.

2. The firmware updater will tell you the latest version is 0010, and that you have the newer version 0030. This is not true, Hyper X admitted that it was a mistake and that 0010 is actually the latest version. So please go to the website, download the latest firmware update even if it tells you that you're downgrading to an older version.

On PS4 it might not work until you update the firmware :)

3. Virtual 7.1 surround sound is both a pro and a con. For gaming, it's terrible and messes up the directional audio because it emulates and duplicates directional audio that most games already have. But when listening to some music, it can sound really good.

NOT as good as the wired version

I have the wired version of these and they are far superior, the wireless version is bad compared to the wired. The sound quality in these wireless ones is just terrible nowhere near the sound of the wired ones. The sound seems like it is inside another room in the headset, I have the wired ones on 34% at all times and it's a good balance the wireless is up in the 70% range and still sounds muffled, Not only that it sounds like the ocean is in the background a constant background noise. They do NOT sound the same as the wired, I have put these back in the box and am returning them as they are either busted or just plain garbage.

I’m very happy with the all round quality, comfort and experience of this headset. Dita nicely over my ears and sits firm on my head without feeling like my brains are being squeezed out.
Sound is phenomenal. For music, gaming and general use. Picks up so much more, sometimes disturbingly so, especially when in a spooky place in game. Music is great, bass is bassy.
Quality is top notch. From m the extra long adaptable cord to the decorative stitching along the padded head band. Mic is easy to pop on, and works really well. No complaints from other players about poor quality. And is easily adjustable from the remote that’s attached to the cord (which has a clip on the back so you can pop it on your shirt) also has a handy mute button on the side.

I recommend these to anyone who loves seriously good sound even without it’s extra booster button.

Good Build Quality and Accessories

My friends recommended this set and I'm not disappointed.

The build quality is excellent feeling very sturdy and comfortable, the option of leather or cloth earcups is a nice addition to hopefully suit everyone (I prefer the leather cups). The weight is more than I'm used to but is still comfortable and I'd rather have a set weigh a bit more than feel light and flimsy.

The microphone is adjustable thanks to a bendy wire however it doesn't have the best travel range so you can't just fold it out of your way when not in use, instead you have to unplug it which is a minor annoyance but worth noting.

Audio quality is good however bass is lacking and there is no way to control how much bass the headset has, which is something much older Razer headsets had control for. I'm sure there's probably some program that can do it but no control is built in. The surround sound feature I find just muddles the audio to an extent, especially for music, so I don't find myself using it. For gaming the sound is clear and directional audio works fine, although it is a little quiet compared to general media volume, at-least for the games I have played, but this just meant raising the volume up while in-game so no issues there.

Arrived very quickly, much before expected arrival date and I opted for free shipping so props to the courier for that one.

Overall I'm satisfied. Much cheaper than buying it in stores and is probably the best quality (especially in build) headset for the price.

My favourite headset i've ever owned. i have backups of this model incase they ever go out of production. Its light, comfortable and sounds good.
Durable. all moving parts are made of metal. Very important i've come to realise when shopping for headsets. metal joints dont squeak. This headset i've had for 4-5 years is undamaged. I've slept in this thing many times.
If I remember right the cloud 2 has the best stats among its peers for the price point.
But the comfort is my favourite part. The mic is usable. I wouldn't complain if a friend used it. but I use a desk mic instead for quality.
I have bought new headsets and gone back to the cloud 2.

I got these to replace my dated earbuds that I use for my phone and Quest, and right out of the box, I was impressed with both the sound quality and design of the headphones.

The detachable mic is a great addition, and the extender that connects it via USB is a good alternative for those that don't have access to a jack. The only thing that kept it from a 5-star review was the size.
My ears are somewhat large, so most won't have an issue, and even if you do, it's nothing major.

Overall it's a great headset for listening to music, watching movies and playing games with.

I play competitive CSGO and these headphones are really well rounded and provide great comfort and sound quality at the same time. I use Sound Equalisation in Windows settings and can hear a lot in-game. I feel as if this headset is really well balanced for all in-game audio, especially compared to the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro (which are great headphones, but for gaming I think these are better). Microphone quality is generally quite good, I had a situation where I sounded robotic, but resetting my PC alleviated that issue.

These headphones are amazing I play rainbow six siege with them and herd of players across the map with the 7.1 sound sourround and I started playing valorent today and herd players behind me these headphones feel like cheating and it's super comfortable and durable and lightweight but the microphone isnt at its prime but still sound decent but the sound quality is something else I'll recommend these headphones to anyone
