We had seen a couple of the first episodes of series 1 on Melbourne TV. It caught our attention, but we could not cope with the endless adverts on -- so we bought the box set. We have thoroughly enjoyed it, worth while viewing, and are glad we purchased the set. BUT - BUT -- there is an empty gap between series 2 and 3 ..
maybe there is some missing episodes somewhere .. that would link 2 to 3.
What happened to the Doctor's mother-in-law, when series 2 end she decided to stay, but not there in 3. What happened to the Rev Todd ? Megan the Hotel owner marries the Police Sergent, but this not shown or why she left the Hotel.
The Doctor's receptionist -- GONE .. Some one may answer these questions .. otherwise it was a great series. GREAT to watch .. another to watch is "Mixed Blessings"

I ordered this Box Set in January 2015, but did not play it until yesterday 10.6.2015 because I had accidentally put it with DVD's I had already seen. Only one episode of the first series would play, and none at all of the second series - all of the discs came up with 'no read'. I have two DVD players and neither of them could play it, so there is nothing wrong with my DVD players. It was very disappointing - a complete waste of money. Although it isn't my fault in any way I am now too late to ask for a refund or new set of discs. I am very annoyed - this was not a cheap purchase and it isn't what I expect from Amazon. There must be other people with this problem, SO BE CAREFUL IF YOU ORDER THIS DISC, and if you really want to buy it, make sure that you play it within the time allowed for refund.
