Got this today, and as usual, was not disappointed. This journey starts in Hong Kong, and ends up in Moscow. Joanna travels on the Trans-Siberian Railway, and we get a very good documentary, the inside of the carriages, families on the train, and a thoroughly enjoyable documentary all told. Maybe the fact that it is an unusual journey helps, but anyone who wants to know more about the trip cannot fail to be captivated by this DVD!

There are no mention of subtitles on the back of the DVD, which is slightly disconcerting. Not to worry, they are there, although why they are mentioned on the "Japan" DVD (which I have) and not on the "Trans-Siberian Adventure" DVD is beyond me, particularly as Dazzler do both DVD's and have the same Executive Producer! A small oversight perhaps!

Having watched Japan and the Northern lights, this was next on my list and did not disappoint! Joanna is, as always a pleasure to watch and listen to, she just has just a humble and honest quality about her which I adore. She goes to amazing places, meets incredible people and really gets involved and really shows respect to the people she meets. I will watch this again and again no doubt. Highly recommended!

I thoroughly enjoyed this travel documentary. It is so informative and educational. Joanna Lumley travels to places and countries that I would never see. She interviews various people in these places, so we learn something of their cultures. She presents her story in a very relaxed manner making it an entertaining experience. I am so grateful to Amazon for marketing these documentaries as I truly have learnt so much about various countries and their cultures. Thank you.
