You’ve heard about all the ways meditation can help improve your overall health and well-being. You’ve probably even tried it once or twice and are wondering, “Now what?” This accessible 28-day program of meditation and mindfulness exercises offers a powerful practice to promote personal growth, kindness, and connection to your authentic self.
Amanda Gilbert introduces the traditional Buddhist heart practices known as the brahma-viharas - loving-kindness, compassion, appreciative joy, and equanimity. With each practice, you will learn how to be more resilient in the face of common stressors and triggers in everyday life, including anxiety, feelings of depression, imposter syndrome, and social media comparison effects - and will be inspired to make meditation an essential part of your daily life and self-care practice.

We all heard the saying, ‘Love makes the world go around.’
Well, kindness does the same thing. And yes, one can use these words interchangeably. Why’s that?
An act of kindness is one of love.
Doing good for someone, comes from a place of love, and one who has received kindness knows what it means to be loved. But it should not stop there.
We should share that love- There’s enough to go around.
Was naive enough growing up, thinking we would evolve to the future of Star Trek's Federation, where blue people got along with green people, and worked along side spiking ear people.
Though Facebook come along and separated us all in tribes. Everyone picked a side, and we all become less accommodating to people.
Had the pleasure of sitting in on few of Amanda's group meditations in Los Angeles. She is truly someone who lives a life of Authenticity, Intention, and Compassion. Real, and genuine, who is true to herself, who believes in spreading love. As opposed to fake people who do things for their own gain but hide behind altruism. (talking you your reality TV 'stars'.
If you pick up this book, and decide to take on this insightful 28 day journey, you, and the world, will be better for it.
Just as you are unique in your way, others are unique, too.
When we choose to put differences aside, become less judgmental and critical of others, we display kindness. And that’s what the world needs to become better.
Hugs.
