This is a new author for me, and the story sounded like something I would enjoy, and I’m so glad I did. I found the storyline quite simple, but the sexual side was, quite simply, HOT! The author nailed the passion, and the descriptions left me breathless. WOW. And, put simply, who wouldn’t like to be sandwiched between two hot, gorgeous Scotsmen, listening to them talk dirty to you with their Scottish brogue 🥵🥰

Hot dragon-shifters, lots of sizzling sex, slightly lame plot

The components that make a good paranormal romance are compelling characters, a narrative arc that is internally consistent and keeps the reader wanting to turn the page, authentic world-building to create an alternate reality in which the paranormal elements are given context and credibility, and toe-curling romance/sex. I was happy with the world-building (which didn't need to be too sophisticated as this book operates in our world and humans are unaware of the existence of the paranormal creatures it features). Romance here takes a back seat to sex, but the sex is satisfactorily sizzling. I found the female lead to be a bit of an idiot but that is a criticism I would apply to 95% of all romances. The male leads were completely unbelievable (but see last remark) and they were smoking hot so who really cares. The issue I had with the plot is that the female lead starts encumbered with a totally unlikeable family and a fiancee which the author then wastes pages on abruptly and totally ditching from her life so that she can be free to immerse herself in her new reality (where they would clearly be a major hindrance). I can't see why they are there in the first place as they contribute virtually nothing to the plot, and make her appear quite vapid and shallow. Despite being engaged she has been indulging in fantasies about her bosses (one would have thought this might be a big red flag that her fiancee is not the one) and she doesn't waste too much time at all in deciding her family are no big loss (though to be fair if they are as bad as portrayed, she would have adequate reason to have given them the flick long ago). I would have like to see more room given to the later (paranormal) hindrances to the polyamorous relationship, in the form of enemies who are opposed to breeding by our paranormal heroes, which are overcome a bit too easily, and which could have enhanced the world-building.

Loved Chloe, Alec & Lachlan. There is something about Scottish Dragon shifters that really set the heart pumping. This a fun and scorching hot read. A bit of action and drama, hot sexy scenes, a bit of over possessiveness, a take no nonsense heroine, and two very hot alphas. A really enjoyable read.

I enjoyed this steamy standalone PNR. Chloe heads to Scotland on a work trip with her two hot boses, but she see's her fiance kissing a colleague at the airport and is devastated.
Turns out her hot gay bosses are bi and hiding a pretty big secret.
I enjoyed the relationship between Alec and Lachlan, you could feel the shared history between them - and lots of very hot scenes.
I liked the way that Chloe didn't just fall for everything the guys said, she made them work for everything and explain what was happening - and even then she didn't always believe them.
I didn't like the way that anything outside the three of them was kind of ignored. I wanted to know more about what happened with her ex, I would have like to have seen how she dealt with her mother and the cancelled wedding and considering they were on a work trip nobody did any work. I also wasn't sure how the guys felt about her upcoming marriage.
The ending was a little abrupt and even though there was an epilogue, it was all about the sex and not much else.
The book is full of hot, naked times between all three - but still explains the world building and different paranormal species well.

The addition of a trigger (without a Trigger or Content Warning) to the storyline of this book has made me feel conflicted. I'm fine with triggers, but many women could be triggered by this book, so I feel a disclaimer is in order.

Additionally, I felt that the trigger took me from a smile to a frown and it is now the main thing I remember from the book. If that had not been thrown in, this would have been a four-star book. Just my opinion…
