Ultimately having the courage to take a chance and try something new leads to a world of possibilities. The text rhymes and is perfect for reading aloud. Suitable for kids who may be anxious about things and it shows them it's ok to be upset and afraid but that sometimes change happens for a reason and it can be good. Great book.

My favourite thing about this book (and A Lion Inside and The Squirrels who Squabbled) is the message, which is so positive, but not at all forced. Given the light-hearted tone of the three books I wasn’t expecting “lessons”, but they are so sweetly given and such positive messages that it has pushed these books to my “most bought” for the kids I know.
