The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake is the runaway TikTok must-read fantasy novel of the year. If you loved Ninth House and A Deadly Education, you'll love this.
The world's best young magicians accept the opportunity of a lifetime.
Six are chosen. Only five will walk away.
The Alexandrian Society is a secret society of magical academicians, the best in the world. Their members are caretakers of lost knowledge from the greatest civilizations of antiquity. And those who earn a place among their number will secure a life of wealth, power, and prestige beyond their wildest dreams. Each decade, the world's six most uniquely talented magicians are selected for initiation - and here are the chosen few . . .
- Libby Rhodes and Nicolás Ferrer de Varona: inseparable enemies, cosmologists who can control matter with their minds.
- Reina Mori: a naturalist who can speak the language of life itself.
- Parisa Kamali: a mind reader whose powers of seduction are unmatched.
- Tristan Caine: the son of a crime kingpin who can see the secrets of the universe.
- Callum Nova: an insanely rich pretty boy who could bring about the end of the world. He need only ask.
When the candidates are recruited by the mysterious Atlas Blakely, they are told they must spend one year together to qualify for initiation. During this time, they will be permitted access to the Society's archives and judged on their contributions to arcane areas of knowledge. Five, they are told, will be initiated. One will be eliminated. If they can prove themselves to be the best, they will survive. Most of them.
In this anthology of fairytales for the modern era, Olivie Blake brings you four tales of romantic noir, each one an improbable foray into dark comedy, seductive horror, and above all, the inescapable temptation of love.
In this third anthology of fairytales for the modern era, Olivie Blake (Masters of Death, Lovely Tangled Vices, One For My Enemy) brings you further tales of romance, each one a provocative glimpse of irreverent humor, daring exploits, and, as always, the inevitable enchantment of love.
In New York City where we lay our scene, two rival witch families fight to maintain control of their respective criminal ventures. The Antonova sisters are beautiful, cunning, and ruthless, and their mother, known only as Baba Yaga, is the elusive supplier of premium intoxicants. On the other side, the influential Fedorov brothers serve their father, the crime boss known as Koschei the Deathless, whose enterprise dominates the shadows of magical Manhattan.
For twelve years, they have coe-xisted in a fraught stalemate. But when bad blood brings both families to the precipice of disaster, fate intervenes with a chance encounter. Now, with deadly conflict on the horizon, everyone must choose a side. As the siblings struggle to stake their claim, fraying loyalties threaten to rot each side from the inside out.
This book is about a real estate agent. Only the real estate agent is a vampire, the house she has to sell is haunted - and the ghost haunting the house was murdered.
When Viola Marek seeks out Fox D'Mora to help her with her ghost-infested mansion, she expects a competant medium. Unbeknownst to Viola, Fox is a fraud - even if he is the godson of Death.
As the mystery unfolds, Viola and Fox are drawn into a quest that neither of them want or expect. And they'll need the help of an unruly poltergeist, a demonic personal trainer, a sharp-voiced angel, and a love-stricken reaper. Caught in a supernatural conundrum, Vi and Fox discover the difference between a mysterious lost love and a dead body isn't nearly as distinct as they thought.
From the no.1 internationally bestselling author of The Atlas Six, Masters of Death by Olivie Blake is a gripping, page-turning fantasy.
After the death of her estranged grandmother, Marisa Marrero finds herself bequeathed a surprising inheritance: a house in the New Orleans French Quarter, left to her with a variety of bizarre conditions attached. Among the surprising consequences of Marisa’s acceptance is a friendship with a man called Jack St. Germaine, an alleged alchemist who may or may not be hiding a questionable history, and a series of encounters with Elisabeth Clavier, a vampire known for hunting mortals for sport. As Marisa struggles with who to trust, she leans towards Jack, especially after a demon arrives at her doorstep claiming Elisabeth was the one who sent him. But when Marisa’s power grows and Jack can no longer provide her answers, a night with Elisabeth leaves Marisa wondering if she made the right choice.
