The reader is transported back to WWII Paris, to the world of perfume and the atrocities of war.
This brilliantly written story brought tears to my eyes several times; however, the writer has also included romance and a subtle sense of humour.
I enjoyed every page of this book and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The way it all fell into place was fantastic.
So nice after all the suffering it had a lovely ending.
Failed to complete because I'd ceased to care.
