I was looking for organizers for my closet shelf to store sweaters underneath, and more sweaters on top. These are perfect! I placed three organizers side-by-side. Within each cubicle, I was able to store one category each: several thin sweaters, 5 medium sweaters, or 4 bulky sweaters. I stored more sweaters and leggings on top. When constructed, and with the "feet" firmly placed on the shelf, these organizers don't sway or fall over. I positioned them so that I was able to store a stack of throw pillows alongside. My closet shelf is double depth, so with the sweaters folded and stored within the "cubbies", there was room at the back to store more items standing upright. The fabric is sewn well and the feet have a silicone cover at the ends, so my shelf wasn't scratched during placement. I'm very pleased with the quality!
I am setting up my craft room and needed dividers for my open shelves to hold various items - especially yarn which tends to roll and tumble. I also wanted to be able to see everything so no closed containers if I can avoid it.
This item is surprisingly sturdy and stable. Not only does this work perfectly for light-weight items like yarn, but is strong enough for heavier items as well. The frames are heavy duty metal and the panels are sturdy with a canvas-like texture. I will be ordering more of these.
Overall I really like this product as it does what I need it to do and the frame is really sturdy. It can be a little tricky to put together because you aren't clipping the parts together - they just lay in grooves. I needed extra hands to hold them in place while trying to slide them into place, which was a whole other issue. As I mentioned, the frame is sturdy - so sturdy it was a little TOO tight sliding onto my shelf. Definitely isn't moving, which I appreciate, just made it a little tough to slide over when putting it together.
This is fine as a "separator" for stacks of sweaters, etc., but for that purpose, it's a bit pricey. It's so flimsy, you cannot really put anything on top of it (hence why the pictures show items like a hat placed on top). So it does not really do anything to expand shelf space.
These are kind of garbage. The top doesn’t stay attached to the sides at all—I had use zip ties to keep them attached. Also, I was attaching it to a metal shelf, so maybe it’s more sturdy on a regular wooden shelf (though I can’t imagine how) but I needed zip ties to secure them to the metal shelves too. Otherwise they’d just flop over.
I'm impressed by how well made this product is. Although it is non-woven cloth, it is heavy weight, and the panels are sewn as a sleeve, so the raw edges are on the inside, fitted over the frames, then sewn into place. The seam is hidden at the back of the frames. The uprights grip the closet shelf tightly.
