Product description
Mad Max (1979)
Mel Gibson portrays Max Rockatansky, a fearless cop waging war with kill-crazy bikers who targeted his family. It’s a war that must be seen to be believed, a road-scorching, neo-punk, take-no-prisoner combat set in a postapocalyptic Australia. Contains a bonus DVD disc ‘The Madness of Max’, behind-the-scenes making od the film that started it all.
The Road Warrior (1981)
Few films compare with this full-throttle epic of speed and carnage that rockets you into a dreamlike landscape where the post-nuclear future meets the mythological past. Gibson returns as a heroic loner Max, who drives the roads of outback Australia in an unending search for gasoline. Arrayed against him and the other scraggly defenders of a fuel-depot encampment are the bizarre warriors commanded by The Humungus.
Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985)
Two men enter. One man leaves. That’s the law in Bartertown’s Thunderdome arena. In his third go-round as the title hero Gibson takes on the barbarians of the post-nuclear future – and this time becomes the saviour of a tribe of lost children. Music superstar Tine Turner steals wha’s left of the screen as Aunty Entity, a power-mad dominatrix determined to use Max to tighten her stranglehold on Bartertown.
Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
Haunted by his turbulent past, Max (Tom Hardy) wanders alone until he’s swept up with a group, led by Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron), fleeing across the Wasteland. In hot pursuit: a warlord who gathers his gang and pursues the rebels ruthlessly, leading to a high-octane road war in director George Miller’s return to the world of Mad Max.Contains the black and chrome edition on Blu-ray. Now to my main gripe. I bought this based on the "bonus disc" featuring outtakes and interviews with original cast members. Despite the fact it's offered here on DVD, the quality of that bonus content is appalling. It makes VHS tapes look like HD quality. I get the impression that the interviews were filmed some years ago, but there are old movies from the 70s and 80s which are offered on DVD today which play in far superior quality to the content on this disc which has really just been thrown together. Don't get me wrong, there is a lot of interesting and informative stuff on that disc. But the crappy quality really ruins it.

I wait about 3 years for buy this Anthology boxset (I wait for such cheap price!).
Even I already had the first trilogy Mad Max (US Tin package). But I still miss Mad Max:Fury Road on Blu ray.Now I am completed!
The package of Anthology set look really good. The boxset is hard slipbox and this set includes 5 discs (4 BD(all Region Free!) + bonus DVD (Region 2 PAL)) and it also have 4 artcards which is the original poster art look really cool!
So,overall this Anthology set I don't have any complain at all if you want the all Mad Max movies with good looking boxset for collectibles and really cheap price.
I really happy to recommended this Anthology UK set!
*•I also surprise the first three Mad Max in this Anthology UK set also have Thai subtitle!(I live in Thailand).
•The Road Warrior disc in this Anthology set is the latest 2013 Blu ray (50GB disc and have DTS-HD audio) like the same included in Trilogy set.
•The first Mad Max in this UK set just Blu ray 25GB and the original Aussie English track just Dolby 5.1audio.
•Bonus DVD is long documantary about first Mad Max movie only.I agree the interview footage look really poor! But I grab this set when sale price I can live with it!😆*

Looks like we will need to give this set a few months to get sorted out .
Mad Max 1 played with no faults and was the best the movie had ever looked yet not quite the quality of MM2

Awsome films, fan for over 30 years. Good to finally have the first 3 on bluray.
However, the images on Amazon are missleading this version no longer includes the UV download which i know is being phased out.
Also does not include the art cards.
I wasnt buying this for the downloads just the blurays at a cheap price to upgrade my collection but some might think they are getting the download which they will not.
I alread have the downloads for 1,2 & 4. This is not in widescren for 2 on the prime version
