Typical Neeson role of old gravel voiced tough guy who has lost everyone and everything and barely clinging on to the only thing he has left his farm. In lob a couple of Mexican refugees being chased by the cartel. Neeson doesn’t want to be the hero but you know this is Liam Neeson he can’t help himself because he has ‘some very special skills’. Good action ride, a little derivative but enough attitude to hold its own.

Usually I rate Liam Neilson movies but I feel this one is not his finest work. In fairness to him, he didn’t have much to work with given the storyline was wafer thin and the support actors appear to have the experience of a potato. Very hard to like this movie as it honestly feels like it was put together in a really slap hazard amateurish manner. Average at best.

Firstly, Liam's character in the film looks nothing like the photo on the Marksman advertisement.
Secondly, unlike the Taken series there is little action in the movie, and the action that's seen is quite tame.
Thirdly, the ending is too short where the boy is given to his relatives. More could be shown of his follow-up life as well.
Besides all that, it's a feel-good story.

Slow moving, and predictable story outcome . The movie needs a few twists, and turns with added adventures to captivate the interest of the viewer. I think this movie lacks this.

Pretty poor show, same themes nothing new or exciting, quite boring.
Victim (child)- crazy that a cartel is even interested in a child
Villains (cartel baddies)
Hero (marksmen).
Same story lines, also poorly told.
Too many fillers: eating, sleeping, buying groceries, filling petrol, doing nothing.

Could have been a way better action movie but it wasn't, very disappointing.
Plot was very predictable, I was extremely unimpressed:(

Fast prompt service from Amazon Australia and the movie became available online within ten minutes of online purchase. Great system and I only hope that a small majority of your clients don't take advantage of this magnificent process. Saves going out in the rain to go an buy a DVD from Big W !

Schlecht.

Durchschnittlicher Action Road Trip
