This UK released DVD set, Released 29 Oct. 2018, disappointed me only in one respect: The original "Love and Marriage" by Frank Sinatra, has been replaced with some somehow-identical music, with no lyrics, as the producers were too cheap to pay for using the original theme.

Having said that, I love the Bundy's! They are outrageous, deeply immoral, even at times seriously violent, and it is so much fun! The extras consist of David Faustino and Katey Sagal separately talking about doing the show, and then there is the "Al Bundy Sports Spectacular" from season 10. If the music had been the original version, I would have given this set five stars.

Well finally the UK get a full release of married with children and it's well worth the wait!

This show is so funny it will leaving you wanting to binge the whole boxset this over and over again.

My only gripe with this is the original Frank Sinatra theme song for the show has been edited out and replaced with a terrible alternative.

Not sure why this is the case as the USA release has rectified this and released it over there with the original theme song.

However it still doesn't take away from the comedy genius this show really is.

I'm all for a Married with children reboot , casts that work this well together is just pure magic.

For the price it's a complete bargain folks. Buy it you won't regret it!

I remember it being on ITV in the 90s but missed the remainder of the show as it moved to sky.

So it's fantastic to finally find the full series released in the UK after all this time.

Please please bring us more married with children I'm sure many feel the same.

Ich habe die Box schon vor langer Zeit bestellt. Und habe sie erst wirklich letztes Jahr angefangen öfter zu gucken. Sonst immer nur mal ein paar Folgen. Als ich bei der Staffel 7-11 angekommen bin musste ich feststellen, dass dort nicht eine CD vorhanden ist !!! Kontrolliert eure Boxen Leute, ob wirklich alle CDs vorhanden sind !!

I had to write a review for this classic sitcom as I’d seen the odd episode on itv 2 , years back and then bought the complete series box set on region 1 about 10 years back , it wasn’t available on region 2 until about 2018.

The premise is simple you’ve got hard working dad Al whose claim to fame was scoring 4 touchdowns in a football game for Polk high. Yet he only ended up selling shoes . You have then lazy spendthrift wife Peggy who Al refers to as the ungrateful redhead.
Finally you have ditzy daughter Kelly and unlucky in love son Bud.

The box set is rated as a 15 cert and this likely because of all the busty women that feature for Al and neighbour Steve to drool over yet there’s no bad language in the series . Some of the best episodes are the 2 parters , my favourites are you’d better shop around parts 1 and 2 where the Bundys compete against their neighbours Steve and Marcy in a supermarket race .

In the box you get all 262 episodes from all 11 seasons and is well worth the £40 I paid at time of purchase . As other reviews mention the love and marriage tune is replaced by some similar sounding Muzak after season 2 which isn’t a big deal for me personally.

All in all I can’t rate this sitcom highly enough. As they say , they don’t make them like this anymore so buy and prepare to binge-watch.
