My monsters had found me… and they weren’t letting me go.
The institute, also known as ISS, housed the most terrifying nightmares that existed in this world…but the true monster was the one that tortured me day in and day out. The one that made me feel worthless and question if I could even call myself a monster. My mother.
I knew I would never escape her. She was everywhere, and two nights before my planned escape, she threatened everything.
Somehow she found out my secret. Somehow she found out about them. My monsters. The only nightmares I could call my own. And when she threatened their very lives? I decided to run, leaving with a severed heart, realizing that they would wake the next morning to find that I was long gone.
They would hate me for it… Or so I thought.
But what happens when they hunt me down? What happens when they show up right when I truly need them? What happens when I realize that the men who chased me halfway across the globe…are actually my mates?
Mating Monsters is a standalone reverse harem novel that features possessive, territorial, and psychotic monsters that will do anything to keep their mate safe… even if it means hunting her halfway around the world. This book is filled with all the monster steam, terrifying creatures with a sweet streak for their girl, and an absolutely guaranteed HEA.
Warnings: This novel includes violence, parental physical and verbal abuse, PTSD, flashbacks of mentioned abuse, swearing, and sexual content for +18.

Isla has been abused by her mother her whole life, but days before her ‘18th’ birthday, she meets The Devourers; a triad of the most dangerous monsters/nightmares.
All three men have an instant connection to her, something about her completely draws them in. But they can never mate with her because while they are extremely powerful, Isla is not as powerful as them, and mating with a ‘weaker’ nightmare always results in their death.

Isla’s character growth was amazing to read about. She still has some of her old personality, but with time and love, she can finally embrace and find her true self.
With reverse harems, it’s almost always tough to pick a favourite guy, and this book is no different. I personally love all of them, but Dranos just hits different.
Dranos vibes dark, dangerous and deadly. However, at heart he is an utter softie. A sweetheart, really.
Wyr is the unofficial leader and is more or less the same as Dranos. Hard on the outside with everyone but his triad and Isla. But on the inside, he’s just a lil marshmallow.
Ralos is just as scary and just as deadly as the other two, but he is also the least scary out of them (and he’s terrifying). He is also the first one to see/meet Isla and can tell that there is something different about her before he even sees her.
All three men are way over possessive and over protective, but Isla loves it and so do I.
This book is amazing and I can’t wait to read more set in the same world!!!

5 stars - less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.
4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.
3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.
1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I'm not engaged. .

I loved going back to ISS from other nightmares POVs and those nightmares were all I wanted : possessive, over the top and completely devoted to Isla.
As for Isla, I had my doubts at some point but even when I thought she would become a cliché FMC, she managed to surprise me. I was not a fan of her “self-sacrificing” ways but she was actually a good counterpart to Ralos, Wyre and Dranos.
Great writing, good plot, amazing characters (and those last few chapters 🤯🔥🔥🔥🥵) : M. Sinclair’s first book this year is a hit with me !
