This book is a hilarious, punny, alliterative take on a routine trip to the grocery store. But, I have a feeling nothing is mundane or routine with Max.
He makes every part of the task seem like an adventure from picking the right cart to picking the right food to picking the right route. Max and his mom have a realistic relationship, with roles that feel familiar to my family.
My 5yo has memorized it after having the book for less than a month. That's pretty high praise.
Can't wait for Max to explain everything in his next book!
