A "must have" if you love The Mentalist
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 November 2015Verified Purchase
A must for fans -- and I can't understand why some reviewers say their discs don't contain the final two episodes. The finale (combined into one long episode) is there on my set.
My main complaint is that the box design is (like Series 1-6) shoddy and boring, and there are no good extras with Season 7, just a clip compilation with a few interview snippets. Where are the blooper reels, the "how it was made" features, the in-depth interviews from the cast and writers about the characters?
But hey ..... now you can enjoy watching Patrick Jane in action any time you like, from start to finish. What more can a fan want, really?

Great final season if you ignore the wedding!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 October 2015Verified Purchase
I liked the way the Mentalist reinvented itself for the last season or season and a half depending on how you look at it. It really could have gone on for more seasons. But that said why on earth do all American TV shows have to end with a wedding, so predictable and getting very dull. And why is it that all these major TV shows can't have major gay characters even when in this one was so obvious. Wylie had a crush on Vega, are you kidding me! He should have had a crush on Kimball, it would have made more sense. US execs really should get in the 21st centuary.

Good enough for the final season
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 April 2016Verified Purchase
I was wary when I heard online that Jane and Lisbon will end up as a couple. Do the script writers really have to match everybody? However, now I think they've done a pretty good job of it. It starts kind of slow, which makes it realistic. Given Janes history I don't think he would rush into anything. The crime stories are of the same quality as they were in seasons 1-6. There is one which spans over several episodes. But that is no problem when you're planing on binge watching anyway.

Better than I remembered
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 October 2017Verified Purchase
So, seven months after buying Seasons 4-7, I've finally reached the end. When I originally watched Season 7 on TV, I thought it was pretty poor and, while it is not the best season by any means, upon watching it again, I feel it was better than I remembered. I'm kind of sorry to have come to the end all over again, but at least I can rewatch any time..
