I bought this book for my son (he is 8 years old) and has discovered Michael Jackson's songs, and loves MJ's dance moves. It was important to me that the book had pictures - and it has plenty. Also that it was 'clean' and suitable for a child of 8 years old - and yes, it does.
The book is a great thick heavy hard-back book, and my son feels pretty special taking it to school to show it off to his friends.

This book is a must for MJ fans. I had to wait a few days for delivery so bought Kindle version too. (Kindle version doesn't have pics.)

I haven't finished yet but about half way through and so far a really great read. As the title says it covers MJ's songs and goes into a lot of detail. Additionally there are personality profiles for significant people. There are lots of snippets of extra info and also covers rare and different mixes.

When the hard copy came I asked my partner to pick it up from the Amazon locker. He messaged saying it weighed a ton. When I got home I was stunned to see a massive parcel and joked about having a new coffee table delivered.

The book is beautiful, well made and well presented. Along with the highly informative text from the kindle version there are loads and loads of colour pictures that enhance the well researched information. I don't think any MJ fan will regret buying it and anyone seriously interested in pop music and popular culture will find it a great read too as it goes behind the scenes of MJ's extensive career.
