Moon Touched (Zodiac Wolves Book 1) Kindle Edition
A TOP 5 AMAZON BESTSELLING SERIES
My fated mate rejected me—and now I've been captured by someone even worse.
As the half-human outcast of the Cancer pack, I've been beaten and bullied my whole life. Gaining my wolf form and my fated mate is my only chance to change packs and hope for a better life.
Except when my fated mate is revealed, he's the future alpha of the Leo pack—our worst enemies. He rejects me in front of everyone, just before the Leos slaughter my entire pack and murder my family.
I manage to escape, but then I'm kidnapped by a far greater threat: the alpha of the mysterious lost pack. The 13th sign was banished from the Zodiac Wolves years ago, and I thought they were just a myth.
They're real. They're holding me captive. And the dark, dangerous alpha is offering me something I can't refuse—revenge.
Moon Touched is the first book in the scorching hot Zodiac Wolves series.

Ayla is your typical FMC, outcast due to her half human status and mistreated by her pack and father, her only hope to be mate matched to a different pack in the hope of being treated better. Unfortunately she is matched to the enemy of her pack, and her pack and family slaughtered after she is rejected by her mate.
Ayla is then kidnapped/rescued by Kaden, alpha of the forgotten pack, a pack believed to be a myth and filled with monsters. Kaden wants to use Ayla and offers her revenge on her ex-mates pack.
I call Ayla typical because she is the usual type of FMC, different, sassy and underestimated. Kaden is also typical as a male lead, cold, mean but with hidden depths. That being said, it was still an enjoyable read, written well, likeable characters and of course ending on a cliffhanger. I have some ideas but I guess I'll find out for sure in book 2.
Even better it isnt a reverse harem type book. Those all seem to be same same.
Thanks for a great read. Completely recommend
Easy read, fun characters to love and hate, you can feel the sexual tension between the two main characters and the book ends on a cliff hanger. If you love Rejected mates stories then you will love this book!
Looking forward to the next book!

5 stars - less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.
4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.
3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.
1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I'm not engaged. .
One thing to know about me is that I'm emotionally incapable of dealing with cliffhangers. So..... this book popped up on my kindle recs and I just jumped in. Normally I check but I didn't and lordy did I nearly have a heart attack 3/4 of the way through apon realising that this story could not be wrapped up by the end. Which only meant one thing!!!! CLIFFHANGER.
GASPS ALL AROUND.
This truly was a golden find for me. PNR meets rejected mates. With so much story and character development. All the good stuff. With a unique twist on pack history.
Ayla is the daughter of the Cancer packs alpha. Despite what you may think in terms of her being high up in pack status , the reality could not be any more different. She's the half breed. The pack mutt. An unwanted mistake the alpha could not throw away in fear of how it would look on him. So it's safe to say her life was hard. Harder than hard infact because that poor girl didn't really know much love. Didn't have the comforts of pack support and most definitely was not treated even fairly. She is a survivor. Inspite of everything she still had fight and knew her worth. I loved her character. I feel like she was easily relatable and full of potential for growth. I especially loved that she always got back up and fought for what she believed, despite being terrified.
Kaden is a mysterious wonder. His pack is shunned and he is all but a ghost story to most. Except he's not. He's an alpha in his own right and boy does he have all the traits to go with the title. Bossy, arrogant, broody and all kind of dangerous. Did I mention hot?.. like seriously the man is a jug of water in a drought. His character is darker and more closed off so naturally getting to know him was harder, especially so because we don't get his POV. But I must admit the author did a great job of giving us enough that I still felt like I knew him.
Their story is this crazy suspenseful mysterious journey of the unknown. Every twist and turn took me by surprise and every emotion was palpable through the pages. I loved the tension between Ayla and Kaden it felt like they were two magnets being pulled together even when they tried hard to deny the pull. They had this hilarious habit of bickering whenever they were together because they pushed eachothers buttons but it only served to create more tension a solidify their connection. It was all kinds of fascinating and frustrating.
Now obviously this is a trilogy so book one is essentially the foundation of their journey and I feel like the author did a great job of introducing us to the characters, giving us just enough information on the past and the present without spoiling the plot for the future. The unique concept of the packs and their dynamics was enough to grip my attention but the characters for sure kept the ball rolling with their larger than life personalities.
Despite being a cliffy hater I have to say she hit it perfectly and left us all traumatised and needing more in the best ways.
So to wrap it up... I love this book. I loved that it was a little different and I really enjoyed the characters. I am dying to know where this journey takes them and what surprises that come up along the way. I know for certain it's going to be a bumpy ride.
Ayla is a great lead character that was dealt a bad hand in life and this story is about her becoming one of them kick a#ss heroine we all know and love . I can't wait to see how she gets there 😎. She is definitely like the underdog that you just love to route for.
Let's not forget our heart throb of an alpha 💗 hes definitely book boyfriend material. I can't wait to get my teeth in to book 2.
This is the first book I have read by this author and think I'll definitely be trying out other series 😎
