My puppy is now almost 5 months old and as soon as I put this little heart beat plush dog down, she looks at it for a few moments then plops down across it and passes out, every, time. There are more expensive options out there but this works great for my dog. If your dog is destructive, pop it in the dog bed (unzip and put under the dog bed cover) I had to do that for the first few nights bc my pup managed to tear the Velcro open and pull out the plastics battery operated heart beat. Now she’s fine with it

Puppy Wanted To Chew It Up!

The puppy itself is adorable and VERY soft. The batteries that make it's "heart beat" are not supplied. It does make a heart beat sound etc which I didn't think was very pronounced. It's really kind of expensive and considering that my 8 month old puppy just wanted to chew it up, it didn't make a lot of sense to keep it so I returned it.....I mean, it kind of defeats the purpose of calming down a dog and reducing anxiety, if they want to EAT it....lol.

Not worth the money, and after reading other reviews after getting ours, it is pretty clear that this once was a worth-it item but has gone downhill significantly in quality. Way too small (smaller than our 12lb puppy), cheap material, no intructions at all and the heartbeat would not turn on for us 3 different times, then once on, it wouldn't turn off. We are returning it. Save your money. We are ordering a totally different brand.

My puppy loves this at bedtime!

I have had it 9 days, and have replaced the batteries 4 times! Every morning, the heartbeat is not on. I wonder if the dog somehow turns it off. But that night, there is a 50% chance I have to put new batteries in! I've tried better, more expensive batteries. No luck!
I would like the manufacturer to send me a new heartbeat container, to try. Otherwise, I would like a refund.

Adorable soft dog. I have it picture next to a xs dog harness so you can see the size of the stuffed dog. The plastic heart is made of cheap plastic and I hope it will not break when I have to put batteries in and out of it. The heart beat is a little too powerful even when it is inside the dog. It gives me the sensation of when your blood sugar drops and you get shaky. The loudness of the heart beat does not bother me as much of the vibration type feeling it gives. I will be putting a hand warmer in when I pick up our puppy to put off some earth. So I’ll leave that up to you if you want to spend the xtra $10 on the other brand that is out there.

The plushie is soft and cute and my dog was instantly drawn to it but it didn’t help with separation anxiety or crate training. My dog just likes to chew it. I take it away to let him know it’s a companion toy, not a chew toy and he’s better about not chewing it but he rarely cuddles with it. It’s kinda just there.

First off my puppy doesn’t like it. Heartbeat is very strong - like a dog who ran a mile. Material is thin. The Velcro barely stays together. Don’t think it was worth the money. The heart that goes in the middle sticks out, doesn’t settle in very well. It’s cute but that’s really it. My 3yr old likes it more!
