I read The River God quite a long time ago, following on with The Seventh Scroll and then through the years. I have enjoyed every one of Wilbur’s books, but the Egyptian series is something special! Thank you for brining some further enjoyment into my life.

Hui is another endearing character of WIlbur Smith, fighting to right wrongs made against the people he loves, battling for survival. he is almost like the Forrest Gump of Egypt, but with more painful battles. It was nostalgic to see Tanus and Taita appearing again. Looking forward to the next book (as always).
