Incorrect Item in Description

Colour: Neon Pink / Neon GreenVerified Purchase

The item is described to be Pink (L), Green (R). In actuality, it is the opposite, far more common Green (L), Pink (R), which can be purchased for way less at almost every other store. Whether or not this was an error, the lack of replacement for AU customers makes this a gamble not worth taking. Go elsewhere if you want these Joy-Cons.

Pink (left) joycon joystick drifts as if it is being pushed even when it was not. Was hoping to return for repair or replacement but can’t seem to find where to do that, so, one star it is.

I’m very disappointed in Nintendo. Everything that comes from this company is expensive so I expect high quality controllers/devices.
Their games are expensive, their controllers are expensive as well so at least keep up with the quality of the products you are selling! This is my second pair. First pair was actually from the Nintendo store and second pair from Amazon and they both started acting up and now one of the joy cons aren’t working properly. I had to end up getting a third party controller which actually works better.

Bought this so we can run 4 people to play Mario Party and Mario Cart. I get the very rare connection issue, but it's not too big of a headache. My biggest problem with these are the price. Should be $50, not $100. Still happy with my purchase.

UPDATED 1 YEAR LATER

Their is a very famous problem with Nintendo Switch controllers I just found out about. About 50% of joycons experience a drifting problem. I thought this was just part of the game I was playing. These are TERRIBLE. NINTENDO is currently in the middle of a class action lawsuits over this problem. DO NOT BUY!

The joy-cons are a great idea with 3 or 4 different ways to use them. Unfortunately, the quality seems to be hit and miss and there seems to be a design flaw where a speck of dust can lead to controller drift. Out of the 5 sets that we have had in our family, 3 joy-cons have had faults, either out of the box or after a few weeks.
