No one film cleaned up at the 2021 Academy Awards but “Nomadland” won a couple of the biggies including Best Actress in a leading role, Best Picture and Best Director. Not too shabby. Is it worthy of these accolades? I’ll leave that up to others, I enjoyed the film for what it is. The quality of the Blu-ray disc is excellent with HD picture and sound. There are also two featurettes, one is a behind the scenes short, the other is a q&a session after a festival screening. Another release added to the Oscars collection.
