Beloved number-one New York Times best-selling author Colleen Hoover returns with an unforgettable love story between a writer and his unexpected muse.
Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon's last day in LA together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.

There is much emotion, angst, some humour, some really good kisses, and heart gripping moments.
This story at times is poetic - with words dancing with one another to create beauty and feeling.
Read it, you won't be sorry.
This book starts off so light hearted but twists in the most beautiful and shocking ways - just bloody read hunnie

I really liked the concept of this book and I don’t want to give to much of the plot away. I got hooked from the start and got through it so quick, I love Colleens writing.
I love both characters they were witty and tensor with each other but also helping each other grow as people and your rooting for them from the beginning. It is insta love which is referenced in the book but it didn’t annoy me as much as it normally does.
Things obviously don’t go smoothly and there is a couple of decisions Ben makes which I wasn’t a massive fan off. and the plot twist I didn’t expect and I felt it did lesson them as a couple. Other then that I overall did really enjoy this book.
I love how this author suddenly just hits you out of left field with a solid ball of emotion. The interconnected way these two characters lives have crossed over year after year is true romance. Very much a slow burn.
What I further love about this authors stories is the uniqueness, you never know where its going to go but you know at some point you are going to be awash with emotions. Love books with all the feels!

For those not aware, this is not a thriller, it’s a beautifully written romance following Fallon-the-transient and Ben-the-writer on the same day (always November 9th) over a number of years. It’s not insta-love, they don’t believe in that, but it’s a love worth writing about with some unexpected twists and turns along the way.
My first CoHo and definitely not my last, this may have taken me a lot longer to read than the buddy read schedule (life just got in the way) but I did thoroughly enjoy it and would recommend 🤩
