How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Really good
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 August 2021Verified Purchase
I bought this for my younger siblings for Christmas to add to our two Wii remotes. It worked very well and allowed all three of us to finally play together. It has been about 8 months since we started using it and it still works excellently.

Cheap and cheerful

The movement detection on this took a bit of shaking to get working fully. Does the trick though.

Worked straight out of the box, just put new high powered batteries to get the best results.

Doesn't work and Isn't New
Reviewed in Canada on 28 January 2020Verified Purchase
Ordered a new remote, received the package and it was labelled as new. Opened it up to find a remote that was covered with grime and scratches. The battery pack looked like a battery exploded in it.
Tried to clean some of the gunk out and put in some batteries but it wouldn't even turn on.

Zero out of Three isn't bad...
Reviewed in Canada on 9 January 2020Verified Purchase
Not one, but three of these remotes were ordered to help brighten up Christmas day. They did no such thing. Not a single one of them would connect individually or combined (The Wii original remotes connected without hassle so it was not a console issue). It made for a very lonely Mario kart session.
