Product description

Even though the middle part would seem to drag a little for some people, I think that’s what make it more unique,
A Perfect Day” sometime don’t seem so perfect at times, or safe for that matter. somewhere in the Balkans in 1995
over the course of a twenty four hour period four combat zone rescue workers try to salvage a body from a well,
there rescue is hampered by the war torn state conflict an rules of the UN peace keeping force,
this movie is so light on the eyes after seeing so much carnage of these type of movies that show the true meaning
of war between ethnic religion an your way of life, I had to stop myself from being bored but then I awoke to hearing
me say, what the hell is wrong with you snap out of it man, and I actually start this movie over an my goodness I was
so glad I did, plus the scenery is so beautiful to look at, an it’s funny at times. I guess just to lighten the load of life,
who knows if at some time you can step on a mine, that’s your job an you have to do it even if it’s dangerous,
there Are a couple of scenes that show a dead body an that of an animal too so if you're not too fond of that stuff,
it’s not the pretties thing to look at,

Finalmente una pellicola che punta ai contenuti, Cinema allo stato puro: dialoghi brillanti, recitazione (cast di tutto rispetto), regia e fotografia curatissimi. Mi ha lasciata felicemente stupefatta la capacità del regista di passare da scene drammatiche a momenti di spasso con delicatezza senza essere scontato. Fantastico il duo Robbins-Del Toro. Bravissimi e in parte gli attori, spettacolare la colonna sonora, dai titoli di testa ai titoli di coda.
Apprezzabile anche il making of, sobrio ed efficace.

da una vicenda banale come l'assenza di una corda viene costruita una storia avvincente. una storia che racconta come funziona l'Onu. Come funziona l'ambiente dei consulenti. I personaggi sono molto ben delineati, l'ambiente in cui si svolge la storia è perfetta con tutte le difficoltà che nascono. Gli interpreti sono perfetti Benicio del Toro è fantastico, Tim Burton lo stesso. Consigliabile a chi ama il buon cinema.

I loved this movie. It's not a story from the cookie cutter production giants of Hollywood. It achieves at showing the ugliness of civil war and still be able to have light moments. The cast is superb, Benicio del Toro is very convincing as the leader of this odd crew of aid workers. Tim Robbins is very good in the role of this misfit, more at ease being an aid worker in a civil war zone than at home.
