4.0 out of 5 starsGood for price point
Reviewed in Australia on 20 May 2021
Arrived promptly. As described in sturdy packaging that can be used ongoing for storage. The magnets don't appear to be as strong as other kits I've seen before. So when trying to build structures they aren't as sturdy. The bright colours are great. But I can see that they will scratch up quite quickly.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed
Reviewed in Australia on 8 January 2022

I purchased the 100 piece set for my 4 year old grandson. Whilst the tiles themselves are sturdy, a good size and good quality, anything you attempt to build collapses completely if you bump even one tile slightly. The age range is 3+ but children this age are going to get very disenchanted very quickly with it if their creation keeps collapsing before they've even finished. I tried building a rocket to surprise him but even I gave up as it kept collapsing. The idea booklet that comes with this set has very limited ideas for the 100 piece set, it also includes ideas for other sets with different shapes. The booklet should be for the individual set, clearly a ploy to get you to purchase other sets. Given the price I wouldn't purchase any more. My grandson is already an expert with Lego so we will stick with that. Very disappointed.

2.0 out of 5 stars Weak magnets, Frustrating to Build With

We bought these after seeing a friends child play with a similar product. Unfortunantly this specific brand of magnetic tiles are quite weak and frustrating to build with, the product feels cheap and isn't easy to use.

3.0 out of 5 stars Loose Magnets

The rest of the tiles have been played with every day since they were gifted on Christmas by three happy kiddos (8m, 6f, 3f) but these 5 red squares came out of the box like this. They won't stay together, the magnets fall out. It's super unsafe. Only the red squares are effected, the rest are fine.

Great product, strong magnets and good quality. Unfortunately some of the magnets are flipped and the tiles don't stick together properly. Also one fell apart and the magnets come out, quite dangerous for very small children!

1.0 out of 5 stars It broke after first use

My toddlers were playing with them for the first time and it broke. Exposing the small pieces of magnets. It would be great if they have put some glue in them before snapping them together.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good, but not as good as some out there

It seems these tiles work with all the different brands of magnetic tiles. This is great! However, they is better out there. The first thing I noticed is that there surface isn't flat. So it can make it tricky for kids to set them up with toys to fit inside. The other issue is that the edges are pretty rough. I'm sure in time they'll get smoothed out, but still.. it could be better. There was a brand that was once sold by amazon that unfortunately isn't available anymore. These tiles were similarly priced, but these flaws were not present.

But all in all these will do. What can I say?

1.0 out of 5 stars Pieces are already broken

Less than two weeks after it’s arrival and light playing the kids Building towers that topple from a couple feet high shattered several pieces exploding little magnets and shard hard around my floor. Magnets are also not very strong magnetism you cannot hold up a built creation in your hands without it collapsing immediately.

my toddler loves this, I love it too, but one day he passed me a broken triangle with the magnets all out! the triangle is not broken I could fixed it back but this means that if the pieces are dropped they may break open. got to be very careful as this can be serious if the magnets are ingested. would have returned it but he loves them so much so I ended up using tape to stick up all the edges.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap price, cheap product, bad customer service
Reviewed in Canada on 27 December 2019

I have bought off-brand magnetic blocks before but these tiles are especially poorly made. The plastic feels very cheap and the magnets are very weak so any structures fall apart very easily. My kids get very frustrated with them. When I contacted the company who made them they just said I should talk to amazon about returns. Paying to ship these heavy tiles back would cost a fortune so I guess we are keeping them. If I could go back I would by the expensive Magnatiles instead of these. Sometimes you can get away with buying the off-brand but this is not one of them! Save your money!
