Two Different Worlds

Even though JoBeth and Adam are in two different worlds now they once shared a world when they were younger but then Adam’s mother married into riches and moved to a life that JoBeth could only dream about. Adam and his step brother Eric had built Eric’s father and Adam’s stepfather’s business into the extremely successful business it was today.

JoBeth came to live with the Steel Bones MC when she was just a teenager who was out on her own to escape the crappy home life she was living in. She had made a life for herself doing what she needed to do. She was the stripper wanting to make it on her own. Adam and his stepbrother Eric met JoBeth at the strip club but it was Eric who wanted her services under the club’s protection. It was even under those circumstances that Adam has seen much more to JoBeth than what she did for a living. Without his mother’s new husband it could have been him that was doing what he could to survive and he seen that spirit within JoBeth.

With Adam’s family not accepting JoBeth would he buckle under pressure from them and forget all about her? Would JoBeth ever let her guard down and trust someone enough to let them into her heart? You’ll have to read this book to find out and believe me this author will take your heart out and give a good shake before putting it back together.

Once in a while, among the thousands of books about the 18 year old, naive virgins , you will find a one liie this one. Funny, witty, real, engaging , honest .
Not everyone of us is a young virgin who met her Prince at 18. Some of us are down to earth, dust ourselves off kind of gals who, with lots of common sense and disillusionment . But we hope for this one, OUR person too, regardless. And he doesn't have to be perfect, or a millionaire, just right for us. And this book gives hope , so that was nice:)

...I've quickly become a major fan of Cate C Wells! And this latest book is yet another hit!
We have met Jo-Beth a few times throughout the series, the loudmouth sweetbutt/stripper. Then there's the scene in a previous book where Adam gets into a punch up with Nickel at The White Van because of his stepbrother Eric. Well it's seems he's not been able to forget Plum/Jo-Beth and he's back!!
As expected, nothing is at it seems - Jo-Beth is a sweetheart, just a hardened one! Been through a lot so just doesn't trust Adam....
